Tulip Tour shorter than expected
Directions from train were not helpful, would prefer a graphic showing dots out of station to channel building. Many white buildings and Storms not prominent to see. Wristband pickup was easy. Would have preferred to be told to walk down to water ferry area and then guide hold color by appropriate bus. We wasted 10 minutes walking and then boarding so left at 11:50 when time said 11:30. Terrible traffic near Tulip Gardens, so dead stopped for 10 minutes. We thought we’d have 3 hours at tulip gardens but ended up with 1.5 hours. Not enough time to sit and enjoy a snack if you wanted to walk entire garden. The driver handled the bus flawlessly. Gardens were gorgeous. Tickets to enter garden should have been handed to each person when getting off the bus, not all of us walking to gate and girl standing there as attendant scanned one at a time.

Keukenhof
The garden itself was beautiful. There is a walk from the meeting point to the bus. Once there the tickets we had were indicating already used. The guide finally did get us in somehow. Speaking of the guide, there was about a 5 minute intro and then he had to leave to meet another group. The bus was not where we were told to meet it afterwards so had to call to find it. Overall organization of this tour could have been better.

Not enough time at the gardens!
The tour was supposed to leave at 11:30 with a 45 minute drive. We left meeting Pointe at 11:30 and then walked 20 minutes to the bus. Then it took an hour and a half to get to the gardens. Which only left us with a little more than an hour and a half at the gardens. Which was not enough time at all. Then the drive back was another hour and a half drive instead of 45 minutes as advertised. The gardens were absolutely beautiful, but there were so many people. So crowded. Which is to be expected I guess since it’s only two weeks. But overall between the driving and confusion and walking to the bus that cut into the time at the actual gardens. So in essence, we spent over three hours driving in an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes available for the gardens. Which is totally unacceptable.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the transportation time and logistics did not meet your expectations, and that this affected the amount of time you were able to spend at the gardens. We understand how disappointing it must have been to feel that too much of the day was spent traveling rather than enjoying the visit itself. Travel times can sometimes be longer than expected due to traffic and the busy flower season, but we understand your frustration regarding the difference from the advertised estimate. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, as feedback like yours helps us improve our communication and planning for future guests. We’re glad to hear you still found the gardens absolutely beautiful, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future. Team Tourcompany

Worth It
I would have given it a 5 star review but the tour was a bit unorganized. Our printed tickets were expired but it took a few minutes to sort it out. There is a bit of a walk to catch the bus so expect a lot of walking on this tour. Otherwise I would recommend it!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your honest feedback and recommendation. We’re sorry to hear there was some confusion with the printed tickets and that the start of the tour felt a bit unorganized. We understand how important a smooth beginning is to the overall experience. We also appreciate your note about the walking involved, as this can be helpful information for future guests. At the same time, we’re very glad to hear that despite these issues, you would still recommend the tour. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we hope to welcome you again for an even smoother experience next time. Team Tourcompany

Guide was very poor with...
Guide was very poor with communication. From the beginning she left a group of us in the parking lot without coming back to look for us . She rushed through the gardens and only stayed with us for 25 minutes as she had another pending tour.Upon our return to the bus , the tour company gave us the incorrect bus stop and it took a call to the company and another bus driver to find the bus at its relocated spot. A group of passengers were waiting at the incorrect meeting point. It was a very disorganized tour

Keukenhof Gardens Half Day Guided Tour from Amsterdam: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.
How much does Keukenhof Gardens Half Day Guided Tour from Amsterdam cost?
+
Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Keukenhof Gardens Half Day Guided Tour from Amsterdam take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.
Is Keukenhof Gardens Half Day Guided Tour from Amsterdam worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 65 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Keukenhof Gardens Half Day Guided Tour from Amsterdam?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Keukenhof Gardens Half Day Guided Tour from Amsterdam suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Keukenhof Gardens Half Day Guided Tour from Amsterdam?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Keukenhof Gardens Half Day Guided Tour from Amsterdam start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?
+
On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amsterdam?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
