Deceptively large with plenty of activities
Our toddlers (4 and 1.5) love science centers and we had reciprocity so took them. Everyone complaining about price probably has never been to a museum or science center before because it is on par with at least 3 other states that we have lived in or visited. Everything is expensive nowadays. We went on a Monday afternoon so it was empty, pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. There are 3 large floors filled with a variety of activities and exhibits including play areas and more scientific learning exhibits such as a UPS flight simulator and construction simulator. The kids had a great time, after 2 hours we weren't able to explore the whole place due to the size of it, maybe did 2/3 of it. We would definitely go back.

Lots of hands-on
The Kentucky Science Center is more like a children's museum with a bit of a science museum and a bit of a natural history museum twist. We had reciprocity from our home science museum, but without reciprocity it would have been overpriced. The museum is on three floors that are split between three connected buildings. It has lots of interactive exhibits with some geared more for younger children and some for older children.

$100 to take one kid
My wife and I took our four-year-old grandson to the Kentucky Science Center. The grandson had a great time playing and learning. We also watched the dinosaur movie, which is good, but probably better suited for 8 and up, as it covers a lot of the research which didn't interest a 4yo. The Science Center can use some new exhibits - some seem to be well worn. Admission for three, including one movie, was $85, plus parking for $15. $100 is overpriced to take one kid to the science center for 3 hours or so. They should review their pricing structure and make some improvements if they want to make this a good value for visitors. We have taken our kids and grandkids to the Indianapolis Children's Museum a number of times and is a much better value. For about the same price, the experience is much, much better as Indy has more exhibits plus an outdoor area for the kids to enjoy.

Not worth the ticket price
Overpriced, exhibits are tired and worn- entire museum needs a cleanup and makeover. Save your money and choose another venue-
