    About this experience

One of the most attractive and unforgettable activities you can do, the route departs from Los Cristianos beach located in an emblematic fishing village in the south of the island of Tenerife, we take the course towards the cliffs of Guaza, protected nature reserve, enjoying the scenery , the cliffs and its enormous biodiversity. The navigation, of great beauty, is done between the great and spectacular cliffs of the marine reserve of Guaza.  Arrived in the middle of the tour we will make a stop to rest, snorkel and try to see some of the species that inhabit this strip such as turtles.  After the bath we will continue the tour, and take the opportunity to take a photo with the cliffs or the amazing cave of the palm grove. It is one of the best excursions you can take in Tenerife, with real professionals

    An incredible experience!

An incredible experience, we saw dolphins leaping, tons of turtles and went snorkeling in another world with crystal clear water and beautiful fish. Our instructor Frank was kind, funny and a gentleman. He was very informative and loves and respects the ocean. Afterwards he made sure everyone gets the free photos and videos he took. If we had longer here I would do it again in a heartbeat. Fantastic value for money and some amazing memories made. Until next time!

Check with a local company that meeting point is correct. Don't rely on Viator's for "where to go"

It ended well at the end as company allowed us to take tour an hour later our scheduled time. Viator sent us to completely wrong address as a meeting point in their printed institutions in my email from them. The actual meeting place was 10 minutes away located by Indian restaurant Star of Bengals. Tour guide Meggie was outstanding, very helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our kayaking and snorkeling tour. I didn't get in a water for snorkeling as to it was too cold and I was exhausted to paddle against the wind for an hour or longer in a choppy ocean waves constantly created by wind and fairies going by back and forth. It was a very very windy day. Someone's kayak flipped twice. Seeing sharks swimming by freaked me out, by we were told they are harmless. 4 stars instead of 5 because of Viator's incorrect instructions for meeting location. But local company earned all 5 for making this experience positive for us!

    Not for children under 12

The instructor was very kind and had all materials as described. I was not able to finish the tour due to my child and I deciding it was best to turn back for our safety. I DO NOT recommend this activity for children under 12 but it also depends on your child’s maturity level. I made this mistake. Lastly, I recommend that you actually be comfortable with kayaking before going, as you only get a crash course and you’re out on the water.

    DO NOT RECOMMEND

Do not recommend! Our tour (or just the 2 of us) have been rescheduled to a later time and added to a big group. You cannot see the wildlife as there are so many tours happening at the same time. Everyone, all the tours and all the kayaks are chasing the same dolphin, the dolphin of course will hide. Not quite, not pleasant. Just a super commericial, touristy and crowded activity. Too many peopleand too loud for this kind of experience. Worst experience ever and we have been on the island so many time before.

Kayak Safari with Dolphin and Turtle Watching from Los Cristianos: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.

How much does Kayak Safari with Dolphin and Turtle Watching from Los Cristianos cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kayak Safari with Dolphin and Turtle Watching from Los Cristianos take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.

Is Kayak Safari with Dolphin and Turtle Watching from Los Cristianos worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 295 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kayak Safari with Dolphin and Turtle Watching from Los Cristianos?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kayak Safari with Dolphin and Turtle Watching from Los Cristianos suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kayak Safari with Dolphin and Turtle Watching from Los Cristianos?

    +

Around 103 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kayak Safari with Dolphin and Turtle Watching from Los Cristianos start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tenerife?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tenerife?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tenerife?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
