Anita really is all that!
Reading the reviews about a guide named Anita, I was really hoping to get her to be our tour guide as she is very knowledgeable about the area, and was I overjoyed to know that she actually owns the company. She took my daughter and I all around to see kangaroos in the wild, the Osprey house, and the coast. It felt like having a day out with a good friend. So happy that we ended our trip with her tour and would come back just to see her again!
Response from the operator: Thanks, Tina, for your kind review. It was a great day out, as you were great company and very enthusiastic. Safe trip home, and I hope to catch up one day again in Down Under ;)

Wonderful Tour
Lovely tour. Anita was an excellent guide. The highlight was the walk to see the kangaroos and the mangroves. While we didn't see the kangaroos close-up, we did see several mobs from a distance, including a baby showing it's face from it's momma's pouch. We also visited the Osprey Center, had a driving tour of Moreton Island, and stopped for a casual lunch at an excellent restaurant. Anita was full of educational information about the wildlife and plants we saw. High recommend.
Response from the operator: Thanks, Jamie, for your kind review. Hope you girls have a great time cruising. ;)

10/10 recommend!
Anita was THE best! My best friend and I went on a girls trip to Australia from Texas (USA), and we kind of booked things last minute. We could not be happier to have had Anita as our guide for the day. She was cool, informative, showed us natural vegetation, actual kangaroos in the wild along our hike, and was overall just a delight! We had a lovely lunch. I can't say enough good things about this experience.
Response from the operator: Thanks, girls, it was a very interesting day, and I am glad you enjoyed it so much. Hope the rest of your travels went well and that you had a great day out in Down Under and will be back soon ;)

Delightful Private Tour with the Best Guide, Anita.
Our tour with Anita was absolutely fantastic. She picked us up directly from our hotel and took us to the Tinchi Tamba wetlands. Anita was full of information during the drive and also during the walk. She answered all of our many questions and was also incredibly patient and friendly. We saw kangaroos right away and later got fairly close to a kangaroo - Anita instructed us to walk peacefully behind her. We felt very safe and in awe of the experience. In addition to telling us a plethora of information about kangaroos, Anita knew the name of every bird we saw, and pointed out the interesting flora and fauna of the area. We saw crabs in the mangroves, spotted many birds (including the very interesting Ibis), visited the Osprey House, and enjoyed a scenic drive along the water. We finished with a delicious lunch in Scarborough. Anita was a delight and we very much enjoyed our time with her. I highly recommend this private, very educational tour.
Response from the operator: Hi Crystal, thanks so much for your amazing review :) I am happy you enjoyed the tour so much. You were great company, and I am glad I was able to show you our beautiful backyard.

Kangaroos, mangroves and the ocean: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brisbane.
How much does Kangaroos, mangroves and the ocean cost?
+
Prices start at $172 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brisbane usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kangaroos, mangroves and the ocean take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brisbane is not rushed.
Is Kangaroos, mangroves and the ocean worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brisbane, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kangaroos, mangroves and the ocean?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kangaroos, mangroves and the ocean suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kangaroos, mangroves and the ocean?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brisbane can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brisbane and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kangaroos, mangroves and the ocean start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brisbane within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Brisbane?
+
On Outty we rank every Brisbane experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include North Stradbroke Island WILDLIFE Adventure Tour from Brisbane, Australia Zoo Day Trip from Brisbane, Ultimate Brisbane Walking Tour (Small-Group, Drink Included). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Brisbane?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Brisbane?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Kangaroos, mangroves and the ocean?
+
Included: Cold water to top up your water bottle. Not included: Lunch. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Kangaroos, mangroves and the ocean include hotel pickup?
+
