Highly recommend Madura
We had such a good time with Madura! He took us from Kandy to Nanu Oya with a few stops on the way. Madura is very knowledgeable about all things Sri Lankan and we learned a lot from him in just these few hours. We felt super comfortable during the whole trip and highly recommend Madura.

Most amazing Driver
Madura drove us from Kandy to Nanu Oya, where we continued our journey by train to Ella—and the trip couldn't have been better! He was so entertaining, genuinely funny, and always in a great mood. No matter what request or idea we had, he went out of his way to accommodate us with a smile. Along the way, he took amazing care of us: fresh water was always provided, he stopped at a great local bakery so we could grab snacks for the train ride, and we made a stop at a beautiful waterfall. I tend to get motion sickness on winding roads, but Madura was extremely considerate and careful, timing extra breaks perfectly whenever needed. Once we arrived at Nanu Oya station, he didn't just carry our luggage and help us buy tickets—he even managed to secure the absolute best seats on the train for us! We felt completely looked after from start to finish. Madura is kind, reliable, incredibly helpful, and brings such fantastic energy to the entire experience. We whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience with Madu
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Madu, our driver and tour guide from Kandy to Nanuoya. Madu picked us up from our accommodation in Kandy in the morning and took us through an incredible day, including the University of Peradeniya, a traditional tea factory and tasting, Ramboda Falls, Damro View Point, and the beautiful journey through the highlands to Nuwara Eliya and Nanuoya. He was so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, and his English was excellent. He gave us lots of interesting information along the way and was always happy to answer our questions. Most importantly, he genuinely went above and beyond to make the day as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. He also did everything he could to help us secure the best possible seats on the train from Nanuoya. This made such a difference to our experience. In fact, having Madu arrange everything was so much better than trying to organise a driver ourselves and then having to figure out the train tickets and seating separately. The whole day was seamless, comfortable, and enjoyable, and we felt very well looked after from start to finish. Madu made what could have been a complicated journey into one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. We would highly recommend Madu to anyone travelling from Kandy towards Nanuoya/Nuwara Eliya. An amazing driver, guide, and genuinely lovely person. Thank you, Madu, for such a fantastic experience! ❤️
