    Sri Lanka 🫶🏻

Our private cab tour with Mr. Ek and Mr. Sampath was more than just transportation; it was an immersive experience that truly enhanced our visit to Sri Lanka. We traveled in a comfortable air-conditioned mini-van, which was perfect for the long distances we covered during our trip. The vehicle was spacious, well-maintained, and provided a smooth and relaxing journey. Whether you're interested in history, culture, nature, or simply seeking a peaceful getaway, Mr. Ek’s tours offer an excellent way to explore the island. Both Mr. Ek and Mr. Sampath brought a wealth of local knowledge, professionalism, and a warm hospitality that made every moment of the tour memorable. They were not only skilled drivers but also insightful guides, sharing fascinating details about Sri Lanka’s rich heritage and hidden gems along the way. Their careful planning, attention to detail, and flexibility ensured that we had the perfect balance of sightseeing and relaxation. From scenic viewpoints to cultural landmarks, they made sure we experienced the best of what Sri Lanka has to offer. I highly recommend booking a tour with Mr. Ek for anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Great experience with all the places you want to see

Great experience. The driver will drive you to all of the places you would like around Kandy and allow you as much or as little time as you need at each place. The driver also gives you options to pick and choose where you would like to go. The tea factory and the gem museum were our favourites as they were so interesting and informative. The guides here were also great. Our driver was also so lovely and friendly too. He also had an umbrella for us when it was raining which was so kind!

Response from the operator: Dear Miss Denisek Your thorough assessment is greatly appreciated, as is the time you took to provide it to us. we appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear that, in addition to the complimentary reviews, you found our services to be beneficial. 6 Day tour across different parts of Sri Lanka with my family

I got in touch with EK from Sri Lanka Hill Country Tours around 10 days before traveling as I was in search for a good rate for a trustworthy company to provide a driver with a van for my family to travel around Sri Lanka, EK responded with a full itinerary for 6 days, the prices were reasonable and the itinerary was thorough. When we arrived both EK and Sampath the chauffeur were there to greet us, they were both welcoming, extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay. They have provided information about different locations and know their way well around Sri Lanka, they were able to provide recommendations on locations based on our interest, we have visited a number of locations some of which are Gall Fort, the Galle maritime museum, Damro Tea factory and plantations, Udawattakele forest (a unique location for those interested in hiking that won’t be listed on the internet), a turtle hatchery amongst other places. Thank you EK and Sampath we appreciate your service :)

Response from the operator: We really appreciate your kind review, Mr. Ehad, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Sri Lanka Hill Country Tours, We are really pleased that we were able to provide you an excellent experience that we strive to provide all our customers. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction and it sounds like we have achieved that goal with you. We want every experience to be “Excellent”! So, your recommendation means a lot to us. Thank you for choosing Sri Lanka Hill Country Tours. We look forward to serving you for many years to come!

Kandy City Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kandy.

How much does Kandy City Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kandy usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kandy City Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kandy is not rushed.

Is Kandy City Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kandy, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kandy City Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kandy City Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kandy City Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kandy can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kandy and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kandy City Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kandy within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kandy?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kandy experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Explore Kandy City Tour by Tuk Tuk, Tours and Transportation in Sri Lanka, Chauffeur guide and Tour organizer. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kandy?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kandy?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
