Wonderful day with Piotr, visiting John Paul II sites
Piotr, our guide, was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable of all the Catholic sites in the area, gave us great guidance on the high points to see at each stop and took excellent care of us. We had plenty of time to enjoy the boyhood home of John Paul II and his childhood church as well as pray the divine mercy novena in the chapel of St Faustina. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Piotr again. It was an excellent experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much, for your kind words and recommendation! I’m delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and found it both informative and meaningful. It was a pleasure, to help you explore these important sites and ensure you had enough time to fully experience each location. I truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again on another tour in the future! Piotr

Amazing Private Tour with Piotr
We were a group of 8 for this private tour and from the very start, we established a good rapport with Piotr, our driver/guide and the tour company owner. Piotr arrived on time to pick us up at our hotel and he was very pleasant, accommodating and informative on the places that we visited. He allowed ample time for us to enjoy St John Paul II’s museum and to pray inside the churches that we visited, take pictures and buy souvenirs. I had requested beforehand for us to be at the St. Faustina Sanctuary for the 3:00 pm Divine Mercy Chaplet prayers. Piotr delivered and made sure that we arrived there several minutes early. I booked 6 Viator tours during our last trip (1 in Krakow, 1 in Paris/Versailles and 4 in Rome) and our tour with Piotr was the first one and proved to be the best. I highly recommend this private tour for anyone wanting to visit the St. John Paul II religious sites along with the St. Faustina Sanctuary. Also price-wise, Piotr’s was the most reasonable among the other similar tours that one of my friends and I looked into prior to our trip.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was a true pleasure guiding you and your group, and we’re so happy that you enjoyed the visit and the special moments at the sanctuaries. Your kind words mean a lot, and we hope to welcome you back for another memorable tour soon!

Peter our guide was do accommodating and picked us up where we needed. He was super kind and did not rush us during the day. Was a great day.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! We’re so glad you had a relaxed and enjoyable day on the tour. It was a pleasure having you with us!

Piotr is an amazing tour guide! Would 100% do it again.
The tour was amazing because Piotr made everything so convenient and comfortable. He told us what the typical itinerary is for the private tour but said we can change it however we like and spend time in more places than others if that is of interest. We ended up spending most of our time at the sanctuary (Kalwaria Zebrzydowska), where we got to have a classic Polish lunch and walk around. We got to create our own timeline. Also, he was very helpful with explaining Krakow and John Paul II as we were travelling to our destinations, giving interesting details we had not known before as well as his own experience as someone native to Krakow in relation to St. John Paul II. Overall, a truly amazing experience and we are so grateful to have done it and met Piotr!
Response from the operator: I'm so glad I done this trip by my self! It was pleasure to meet both of you. Great possibility to exchange opinions and show you our region. Hope to see you again in the future. Thank you again for great day!. Piotr

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
John Paul II Route Guided Tour With Private Transport: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.
How much does John Paul II Route Guided Tour With Private Transport cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does John Paul II Route Guided Tour With Private Transport take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.
Is John Paul II Route Guided Tour With Private Transport worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule John Paul II Route Guided Tour With Private Transport?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is John Paul II Route Guided Tour With Private Transport suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book John Paul II Route Guided Tour With Private Transport?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does John Paul II Route Guided Tour With Private Transport start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krakow?
+
On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krakow?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krakow?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
