    Private tour of JFK assassination

Husband and I, from Georgia, visiting the stockyards and Texas for the first time. Always had an interest in the JFK assassination so we booked a private tour with Dan. I can say that, hands down, this was the most informative tour we have ever taken. If you are looking for an all encompassing experience of JFK’s last day in Dallas, Dan is your man! I’ve been interested for years but learned so much from him that I never knew. I can’t say enough about what a great Kennedy historian he is. You won’t be disappointed! Great job Dan!

Very informative, in depth, JFK/LHO tour

Thankful it was in an air conditioned van! The tour itself was very informative. We liked that there was some history about Dallas in general too. The information about the JFK assassination and Lee Harvey Oswald were great, we got to see where the shots took place, where LHO worked and shot from, and we got to hear some of the conspiracies behind it all. It was a great tour but definitely leaves us to wonder and go do our own research, which I like!

    Great tour. We'll worth it.

Kinney was a great tour guide and VERY knowledgeable and informative about the subject. I loved how he physically took my wife and I to the various locations that have been etched in history, including the Lee Harvey boarding house which truly felt like we traveled back into time. Kinney was amazing and hope that whenever you book this tour, he will be your guide.

    Awesome surreal experience

Had a great time doing the JFK tour in Dallas! This was my first time in Texas and my main reason of coming to Dallas first was to see the JFK site as I studied this in high school and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Orlando was a great informative guide and it was very cool to hear about it from a local Dallas native! Museum was great with a huge amount of information, pictures and various items. All around was a great experience for my first trip to Dallas!

JFK Assassination Tour with Lee Harvey Rooming House: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dallas.

How much does JFK Assassination Tour with Lee Harvey Rooming House cost?

    +

Prices start at $57 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dallas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does JFK Assassination Tour with Lee Harvey Rooming House take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dallas is not rushed.

Is JFK Assassination Tour with Lee Harvey Rooming House worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 686 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Dallas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule JFK Assassination Tour with Lee Harvey Rooming House?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is JFK Assassination Tour with Lee Harvey Rooming House suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book JFK Assassination Tour with Lee Harvey Rooming House?

    +

Around 240 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dallas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dallas and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does JFK Assassination Tour with Lee Harvey Rooming House start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dallas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dallas?

    +

Dallas covers JFK and Sixth Floor Museum history tours, Fort Worth Stockyards cattle drives, Deep Ellum food and music walks, and Reunion Tower skyline views. Combined Dallas and Fort Worth tours vary a lot in how much time they actually spend in each. On Outty we rank every Dallas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include JFK Assassination and Museum Tour with Lee Harvey Oswald Rooming House, The Escape Game: Epic 60-Minute Adventures at Grapevine Mills, Dallas Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dallas?

    +

March to May and October to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dallas?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
