What you'll see and do
Fes El-Bali
This is the best preserved medieval city not only in Morocco but in the Muslim world. It is regarded by many as the cultural and spiritual heart of the country. In the morning after breakfast, you will visit the Royal palace of Fes, the jewish quarters and then have a splendid panoramic view of the old city. After exploring the ceramic and mosaic workshop just outside the city, You will explore the ancient medina and admire the three main components of the Arabic/Andalusian architecture: ceramic art, carving of the plaster and carving of the wood. You'll be surprised as I introduce you to the oldest continuous University mosque in the world. While strolling slowly in the narrow alleyways and markets of the old city, you will discover the medieval Koranic schools that housed students who came to study in Fes during the medieval time: Medrasa Bou Inania or Medrasa Sherratine. You will visit the oldest and biggest tannery in Morocco that is still functioning almost daily

Satisfactory
The guide took us to many shops to buy things. Ur was raining and we were not able to put as much time into exploring the historical sites as I would have liked.

Viator assigned me a...
Viator assigned me a scammer.A half day trip took a full day. He took me everywhere but the tannery. When I asked about the tannery he said let me show you what I do. I was so mentally exhausted and drained from going to shop to shop being passed along to another guide to push for an hard sale. After seeing presentation for carpets, ceramic, spices, and weaving I was mentally exhausted and request to go back to the hotel. My experience was awful

Excellent tour!
Very nice tour! The tour guide was really nice and very helpful with everything. They picked us up from our hotel and took us all over the medina! Excellent!

Adil is a great Fes tour guide
Adil is a great tour guide and I am Very happy to have him to introduce this fantastic city of Fes to me. Not only he is very knowledgeable about the history of those important monuments in the city, he is also very passionate and proud of the traditional lifestyle in the medina. This is very impressive and has changed my view. Next time when I come back, I’ll look for him again. Thanks Adil.

Thank you Mohammed
It was a nice experience and the only realistic way to travel in Medina without being bothered. The fact it was Ramadan limited our options to eat. But it was a good day

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Jewish Quarters and Fes Old Medina Full Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.
How much does Jewish Quarters and Fes Old Medina Full Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jewish Quarters and Fes Old Medina Full Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.
Is Jewish Quarters and Fes Old Medina Full Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jewish Quarters and Fes Old Medina Full Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jewish Quarters and Fes Old Medina Full Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 9. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Jewish Quarters and Fes Old Medina Full Day Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jewish Quarters and Fes Old Medina Full Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fez?
+
On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Exclusive Fez Medina Walking Tour with Private Guide, Fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days, Private Guided Walking Tour of Fes Medina with Local Expert. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fez?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fez?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
