Extremely unprofessional and bad experience

Myself and my 2 adult sons went on a jet ski excursion with them on the 8th of June. The excursion from the start was not a good experience, the reason for this is, I am not confident on jet skis which I did tell the tour guides before we started. He did not talk English so this was ignored, the tour guide went extremely fast and my boys were able to keep up with him, me on the other hand could not and I was left behind. My boys realised this was the case and they stopped for me otherwise the guide wouldn’t have stopped. We stopped for a swim which was all of 3 minutes (he told us), hardly time to get off the ski and back on let alone swim. When we started back off again, the jet ski my eldest was on started smoking and would not get any speed, it stayed below 15kph. The guide stopped and told my son to change over to his ski. While this was being done he took our phones out of the ski and almost dropped them both into the sea. He then, after swapping with my son took us on a very slow and boring 10 minute ride to which he then stopped once again and asked for my other son to give him his goggles so he could examine the net ski underneath. This took about 15 minutes which took more time off our hour tour. Just after this as the ski would not get any speed he then took us back. My son also tried to tell him that the fuel in his ski was below the minimum line and was close to running out. He did not understand us as he spoke absolutely no English. When we got back to the ski platform, while I was getting off the jet ski, my right leg fell down a hole on their platform that was not covered by a plastic cap like the rest of the holes. I needed help from them as I was very hurt and had a cut also on my shin which bruised very quickly after the fall, and all I got from one of them was, “sorry”, they did not look at my leg or offer me any kind of medical assistance. All they wanted to do was invite their next customers that were waiting to get on the jet ski next. It was clear that I was extremely hurt and they just left me to suffer. I had to go to a restaurant that was behind their jet ski platform for help to which I got some help from a waiter. I then contacted the company and they apologised and said I would get a refund of the 3 jet skis of 130 each, however we actually paid 160 euros which was advertised as 159 euros each and we did not get our change. A couple of days went by and I didn’t have a refund so I chased it up which anybody would do. I was told that I will not be getting a full refund for all 3 because they cannot be held responsible for me slipping over. I did not slip over as you will see the pictures of injuries directly afterwards, that I had non slip beach shoes on for this reason, (to prevent slips). I was called a liar and told they are not scared of my threats because of the Spanish laws and basically I won’t win in a fight with their solicitors. I did I say I was taking them to court and just wanted my money back which is the least they could do because of the injuries I got. At no point have I been shown any compassion from them and I am now at home having been to my hospital and I have a grade 3 ankle sprain. 4 weeks later and I still have not got any better and I am currently waiting for further scans on Monday 13th of July Upon telling them that this is the case on their WhatsApp, I had no reply. This was after she said while I was over there that she would look at the cctv to see the truth. I told her I am happy for her to do this as I am not the one who has lied. Please look at the videos and photos of the site and my injuries. Please think before you book with these people because if you have an accident due to their negligence, they will offer no help. I did get a very small refund of 130 euros which doesn’t even cover one jet ski of 160 euros. This small refund will not even make up for the loss of enjoyment on our holiday due to my injuries and I am now prevented from enjoying being at home and being able to go out and do normal things like running and my normal every day exercise. Update! I am now currently waiting for physiotherapy because 6 weeks later and my ankle/leg is not healing and needs therapy.

Bad experience from the start

Yes have a trip with these people then end up like this because they have caps missing on their ski platform and you end up falling down the uncovered hole. We have had absolutely no sympathy and I have been called a liar. When I fell the tour guides were too busy getting in their next customers and never asked whether I was ok. I will be wearing this boot for at least 3 weeks, recovery time could be 3-6 months because I have a serious grade 3 ankles sprain. This happened on day two of my holiday, we paid 160 euros each for an excursion that was terrible. One ski broke down and was throwing out white smoke from the back, he made my son do a swap over in the sea only to get on the jet ski the tour guide was on and that one was running out of fuel. We were given 3 minutes for a swim before the jet ski broke and had to go back early because the jet ski would not go above 15kph as it was just throwing out white smoke. To add to this, the tour guide also kept riding miles ahead at the start of the tour before the ski broke and if my sons hadn’t realised I had been left behind and stopped then the tour guide wouldn’t have stopped either. I am not confident on them and I told them that at the start, but he still left me behind. We asked for a refund due to this and my injury, we were offered a full refund for 3 skis then they only refunded 130 euros which wasn’t even a full refund for one ski. Avoid these people!!! All we wanted was to be compensated for the rubbish tour and for my injury which I am still suffering with because I have a nasty ankle sprain which will take at least 3 weeks to heal. The day after my injury it was my sons birthday and it made our holiday not what it should have been as I am still in a lot of pain, and spent our holiday trying to get some sort of compensation for our inconvenience. This ruined my holiday experience and I had to make the best of my holiday for my boys that were with me, if we could have got a flight home with the stress this company caused me then we would have but that would have cost a lot of extra money so we made the best we could of it even though I was in a lot of pain. I took pictures of the site where I had my accident, and I also took photos every day of my injuries to show swelling, raising etc. I am now back home and have had treatment but still have no feeling in my toes as my foot and toes are numb, and I still have swelling and bruising. I am unable do basic things alone.

Scam - do not book with them

Do not book with this company. Terrible experience and have been ripped off for 200 euro. We booked a jet ski tour with them via their website for the Santa Ponsa location. After we were already on our way to the location to attend the tour, we were informed that they weren’t operating in that location & the tour isn’t going ahead for our scheduled time. They then offered us the option to attend at a different location for a later time that day, however we were unable to attend due to other commitments. They were initially extremely helpful and apologetic, and advised they would process a refund as we weren’t provided the services we paid for. Despite this, we haven’t received our refund of 200 euros and they have not responded to our recent contact attempts. Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience and a damper on our holiday. I would NOT recommend using this company.

Great experience

Excellent trip with Dylan. We have went on jet ski tours on different holidays in the past and this was definitely the best. We had an hour booked and we were on the water for a full hour, unlike other experiences. I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking to book a jet ski tour.

Poor.

Very poor. First booking was cancelled, but we were NOT told. Second booking was also cancelled and they "claimed "that they couldn't get hold of me. (WhatsApp,text or phone). Said it was too rough sea. All the other jet ski firms were running. Would not recommend.

Response from the operator: Hello, If some companies prefer to take risks without prioritizing their clients' safety, that’s certainly not the case for us. We did try to contact you several times, but received no response. Our reputation speaks for itself, and we are sorry that you had a bad experience. However, I will not apologize for work that was done properly and with full commitment to ensuring the safety of our clients, regardless of the decisions made by other companies. What sets us apart from the rest is precisely this professionalism and responsibility towards our clients. We would be happy to prove this to you during your next stay in Mallorca, and we are confident you will have a great time with us. Best regards,

Jet Ski in Cala D'or: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.

How much does Jet Ski in Cala D'or cost?

+

Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Jet Ski in Cala D'or take?

+

Plan for about 0.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.

Is Jet Ski in Cala D'or worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 25 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Jet Ski in Cala D'or?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Jet Ski in Cala D'or suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 0.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Jet Ski in Cala D'or?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 0.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Jet Ski in Cala D'or start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mallorca?

+

On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mallorca?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mallorca?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
