Delicious
I had an absolutely wonderful time with Jasmin!! The food was AMAZING, it was some of the best food I have ever tasted. I told Jasmin she should open her own restaurant because her food was better than all the restaurants I have been to in Fort Kochi. The family is so kind, their house is beautiful, and the experience was worth every penny.
Response from the operator: Hi Jenna . Glad to know that you enjoyed the cooking class and thank you for the review. We look forward to meeting you again on your next visit to this part of India. Thank you Jasmin Stanley

Jasmin welcomed us into...
Jasmin welcomed us into her home and taught us how to cook traditional keralan cuisine. The food was excellent and there was a feast afterwards. Perfect for an advanced or beginner cook who wants to learn how to mix all of the Indian spices and make Keralan cuisine (better than the restaurants around). She also gave us tips and recommendations.
Response from the operator: Hi Cheljea. Glad to know that you enjoyed the cooking class and thank you for the review. We look forward to meeting you again on your next visit to this part of India. Thank you Jasmin Stanley

A wonderful culinary experience
We enjoyed both the experience of an authentic Kerelan kitchen and the delicious end result! Six of us cooked up a storm and learned a lot about the Kerelan cuisine.Jasmin was a lovely hostess/ tutor making us feel very welcome and explained everything clearly. The whole process was very smoothly organised .Thankyou.

Fantastic. You'll not regret doing this....
This is a fantastic experience. We stayed in the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai last week and ate at their Indian restaurant which was great but the meal we have with jasmine was on another level. The food was absolutely stunning. 1 fish curry 1 prawn & onion dish 1 Dal 1 beetroot and curd dish 1 green beans dish 1 coconut and cabbage dish All explained in plain English so that even I could follow. Jasmine is a fantastic teacher. The food once on the table was bountiful and impossible to eat it all, even if I really did want to. It's been an hour since I ate and I'm still full, and happy 😁 You won't be disappointed if you do this class. It's been the highlight of my trip so far.
Response from the operator: Hi Dean. Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It means a lot to us, especially your kind comparison and your generous words about Jasmin’s teaching and the food. We are very happy that the cookery class became a highlight of your trip. Your happiness and satisfaction are the greatest reward for us. Thank you once again, and we hope to welcome you back someday. With warm regards Jasmin

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Jasmin Villa Homestay Cookery Class: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kochi.
How much does Jasmin Villa Homestay Cookery Class cost?
+
Prices start at $38 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kochi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jasmin Villa Homestay Cookery Class take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kochi is not rushed.
Is Jasmin Villa Homestay Cookery Class worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kochi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jasmin Villa Homestay Cookery Class?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jasmin Villa Homestay Cookery Class suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Jasmin Villa Homestay Cookery Class?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kochi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kochi and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jasmin Villa Homestay Cookery Class start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kochi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kochi?
+
On Outty we rank every Kochi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Local Kochi Sightseeing Tuk-Tuk Tour, Kochi Sightseeing Tuk-Tuk Tour, Kochi Sightseeing Tuk-Tuk Tour with Pickup From Cruise Ships. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kochi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kochi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
