Coffee Coffee Coffee
Our guide Daniela was wonderful. The drive is very long due to construction. The scenery was wonderful and worth the trip. The coffee farm is gorgeous and the host family are beautiful. The town of Jardin is magical with a fantastic cathedral. The people of Jardin are so friendly and warm. The hillsides are fantastic. Daniela and Jaime were the best.
Response from the operator: Thank you kindly for this awesome review and for being wonderful guests! We love fine people like you guys who really hone in on all the nuances and subtleties. It's gratifying to know that you experienced a magical time touring with us and our crew in Jardin, one of my favorite towns in Colombia that is not flooded with mass tourism, preserves it's colorful architecture and the amiability of its people. We appreciate you and definitely hope to see you tour with us in the future! Warm regards, Alex from Medellintravels.com

Good destination but with unexpected issues
Hello Last week, my fiance and I joined this private tour. The coffee finca was amazing...Don Jaime and his esposa was soo accommodating...we had a nice pastry and picked coffee beans and tried the coffee produced by Don Jaime plus a sample of the aperitif they make. The tour guide Daniella and the driver Jaime were very nice, genuine and informative. But. ... The ride was very very long due to construction and the occasional uncleaned debris from multiple landslides in the mountains. There was only 1 washroom break for the 4 hour ride there. And one for the 4 hour ride back. My fiance developed stomach issues and even though we paid to see the waterfall, we could not go...as only on the tour, and not in advance, did they inform us it was a ' 40 minute walk to visit the waterfall and return, excluding the time at the waterfall'., I was not offered a refund for the extra money we paid for the waterfall tour. If I knew in advance of this long trek, I would not have taken and paid for the waterfall option. If I knew there was only 1 washroom break every 4 hours, I would not have booked this tour at all. The guide told us,'sorry to treat you like children, but there are no washroom stops...you must hold it'....this is not what I expected from private tour.....seriously....it is disrespectful. I would recommend this tour to those who have strong bladders and those who dont mind a 40 minute trek plus visiting timd on foot to see a waterfall. I know we dont have the convenience of North America here, but to those who have even the slightest urge to use the washroom more than once every 4 hours; this may not me the tour for you....like it was not a good situation for us. It was over 11 hour tour total for 1 hour in le Jardin and maybe 1.5 hours at the coffee finca...do the math. I spend almost $500 US for 2 people..I felt like I could have spent my money better elsewhere..maybe a 1/2 day coffee tour and the rest for a nice meal....

No Trip to Colombia would be Complete Without This Tour!
We are now returned from our amazing trip to Colombia and back to our routine lives. But whenever anyone asks how our trip was, I mention this amazing tour! The colorful town of Jardin was the cutest ever. I want to go back! The tour of the coffee plantation was a must-do in Colombia. So interesting to learn exactly how my daily cup of java is made! Sitting on that wrap around balcony sipping the freshly made coffee while looking out at the amazing mountain views and colorful birds was something we will never forget. The massive waterfall was amazing. And our wonderful guide, Oscar, was with us on every step explaining the history and stories of the town making the experience so much more interesting. He was very helpful with my husband who has some trouble walking and very ready to take pictures when I asked. Thank you for the tour!! It was incredible!
Response from the operator: Hello there Muggie, I am super happy that you had an amazing tour! Jardin is one of our most popular tours that we offer. Everyone goes back completely satisfied and with a smile on their face! Many thanks for your detailed review on behalf of Oscar and the rest of us here at Medellin Travels. Best regards, Alex and the Medellin Travels family

A must do in Colombia!!!
We had the pleasure of joining our guide, Oscar, on a full day coffee tour with the optional waterfall additions that was absolutely delightful!! He picked us up directly from our hotel and transported us through the stunning countryside to the quintessential village of Jardin where we enjoyed lunch and a tour of the village. We then proceeded to a small hike (10 minutes) to the first waterfall and the coffee plantation where we met Augustin who offered us the best lemonade refreshments we’ve ever had! Augustin and Oscar then walked us through each step of the coffee harvesting process even down to hand roasting fresh coffee beans which we then enjoyed on the scenic patio overlooking the mountains. It was such an informative, enjoyable, and delightful experience. We then returned to the car for a short drive and walk to the second waterfall which was also gorgeous and well worth the extra time. When our day in Jardin was over we headed back to Medellín and once again enjoyed the wonderful views and stopped for refreshments on the way at a great sunset view spot that Oscar suggested. The day was nothing short of perfect! Oscar was so knowledgeable about coffee and the region, but even more so he was so welcoming, an open book about Colombian culture, and was wildly entertaining - it was so easy to spend the day learning from him and seeing the countryside through his eyes. We could not more highly recommend this tour!!!!
Response from the operator: Hey Tiffani, thank you for your precious time writing this elaborate review. I'm happy that you and your family enjoyed all the waterfalls, coffee villa, town and our staff Agustin and Oscar. Thanks for stating it was nothing short of perfect, our objective is for our guests to feel completely satisfied with our service and our family members here at Medellin Travels! Cheers, Your friends from Medellin Travels

Amazing Coffee Tour around Jardin
Our group of 5 did a full-day tour with Lina as our guide - and we would recommend it to any coffee fanatic, as well as anyone looking to see the countryside of Antioquia. Lina was a great guide, and she was a wealth of knowledge about the history and current developments of the region and Medellin. We stopped in the beautiful town of Jardin and had a typical Paisa lunch, and got to do a taste test at one of the local roasters. The tour of the coffee farm was not only beautiful given the scenery, but very informative into the process of how coffee actually gets to the table. The family was incredibly generous and welcomed us to their home. Overall it was an authentic experience that I would highly recommend, and one I will never forget.
Response from the operator: Hey guys, I really appreciate your review on our Jardin Coffee Lovers Tour, and for all the compliments. Thank you for going into detail and for stating that it was an authentic experience that you will never forget, this helps our readers with their selection and future travels. Take care, Lina from Medellin Travels

Jardín Coffee Lovers Private Tour with Waterfall Option from Medellín: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Medellín.
How much does Jardín Coffee Lovers Private Tour with Waterfall Option from Medellín cost?
+
Prices start at $239 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Medellín usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Jardín Coffee Lovers Private Tour with Waterfall Option from Medellín take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Medellín is not rushed.
Is Jardín Coffee Lovers Private Tour with Waterfall Option from Medellín worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Medellín, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Jardín Coffee Lovers Private Tour with Waterfall Option from Medellín?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Jardín Coffee Lovers Private Tour with Waterfall Option from Medellín suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Jardín Coffee Lovers Private Tour with Waterfall Option from Medellín?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Medellín can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Medellín and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Jardín Coffee Lovers Private Tour with Waterfall Option from Medellín start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Medellín within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Medellín?
+
On Outty we rank every Medellín experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guatapé Tour: Piedra del Peñol with Boat Tour, Breakfast, Lunch, Comuna 13 Graffiti Tour with Street Food, More than Escobar Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Medellín?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Medellín?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
