    Enjoyable trip

A little long travelling in van. But overall quite a nice day trip. The waterfall cold water at the end was refreshing.

    A longer than expected day.

The boat trip around the islands was breathtaking, the views are just out of this s world. Be prepared for a long day.. We were picked up at 8:45 and didn’t get back until gone 7pm. This was due to being in a mini bus with others, which on all our other trips hasn’t been the case. The driver wasn’t the best, driving too fast a lot of the time. The water supplied throughout the day was warm. Lunch was ok, but again a number of boats arrived at the same time and it was more like a military mess room than restaurant. If I were looking to go to James Bond island and also kayak through the cave, there are trips that go by boat directly from Ao Nang beach, which is where we were staying. I think more info should be out in the info. That said memories were made.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We’re truly happy to hear that you found the boat trip around the islands breathtaking and that it created memorable moments for you. At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the aspects of the tour that did not fully meet your expectations. We understand that it was a long day, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by the shared minibus transfer and the driving experience. Your comments regarding the temperature of the water provided and the lunch arrangements during peak hours are also well noted. We appreciate your suggestion about clearer pre-tour information, especially regarding transfer times and alternative options from Ao Nang. This is very valuable feedback, and we will certainly use it to improve our tour descriptions and overall service. Thank you again for choosing our tour and for your honest review. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide an even better experience.

A great one day tour to James Bond Island

It was definitely a good trip and one I would recommend. The long tail boat to the island was great. The canoeing around the caves was great. The time spent on James Bond island was also good. Lunch at the floating village was a good experience as well. It was a very hot day so by the time we got to the afternoon activities we didn't have as much enthusiasm as we did in the morning. We skipped the time seeing the monkeys and the temple to just sit in the shade. The last stop on the trip was to see a waterfall which was pretty unimpressive and not really worth the stop. All in all, it was a good trip and we are definitely glad we did it but I am not sure the 3 stops in the afternoon were worth it.

    Crowded

Very crowded, not at all what I expected. Lots of waiting around. Scenic but not a great tour, would not recommend during busy season. Maybe private tour would be okay.

James Bond Island Tour from Krabi by Longtail Boat: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krabi.

How much does James Bond Island Tour from Krabi by Longtail Boat cost?

    +

Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krabi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does James Bond Island Tour from Krabi by Longtail Boat take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krabi is not rushed.

Is James Bond Island Tour from Krabi by Longtail Boat worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 122 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krabi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule James Bond Island Tour from Krabi by Longtail Boat?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is James Bond Island Tour from Krabi by Longtail Boat suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book James Bond Island Tour from Krabi by Longtail Boat?

    +

Around 43 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krabi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krabi and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does James Bond Island Tour from Krabi by Longtail Boat start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krabi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krabi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krabi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Phi Phi Islands Tour with Lunch from Krabi, Phi Phi Early Bird & 4 Islands - Day Tour by Speedboat From Krabi, Railay and 4-Island Sunset Speedboat Cruise with Night Snorkel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krabi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krabi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
