James Bond Island is a famous landmark in Phang Nga Bay. The bizarre – why-doesn’t-it-fall-over – outline of James Bond Island or Koh Tapu ('nail island' in Thai), lies next to the equally popular Koh Ping Ghan (sometimes spelled as Ping Gan or Ping Gun). The entire area surrounding this island is indeed spectacular.

    Great trip!

It was great to see James Bond Island and to get the photo however the highlight was the canoeing for us. Our canoeist was excellent and the scenery stunning. What the blurb doesn’t tell you is that there is a lot of bus travel, nearly 4 hours, thankfully we had a good driver and the roads were good from Krabi.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed and had a fun time overall. We appreciate your note and we hope to welcome you again on another memorable experience. Best Regards, Tawan Oh-Hoo Team

What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krabi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krabi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
