An Unforgettable Phuket Experience
An Unforgettable Phuket Experience If I could give Seanery Panyee 10 stars, I absolutely would. This was the highlight of my entire visit to Thailand—and one of the most memorable day trips I have taken anywhere. Before arriving in Phuket, I spent a week each in Bangkok and Pattaya. I then had five nights in Phuket, with one priority at the top of my list: visiting James Bond Island. With so many cruise options available, I did my research carefully. I wanted a modern, safe, well-maintained boat; a smaller group; excellent facilities; and, above all, a service-oriented crew. Seanery Panyee delivered on every point—and the weather cooperated perfectly as well. My day began with pickup from the Hilton DoubleTree in Patong. The roughly one-hour journey to the marina was comfortable and relaxing in a very nice van, driven by someone who was both professional and clearly safety-conscious. I was the second guest collected, followed by two more pickups, for a total of seven passengers. We made a convenient rest stop along the way before arriving at the marina, where Seanery’s staff greeted us warmly and efficiently. Within minutes, we were transferred to the dock and welcomed aboard. Shoes come off before boarding, and guests are shown to pre-assigned seats—a thoughtful touch that made the boarding process smooth and organized. Our guides, Josh and Honey, immediately set the tone for the day with their warmth, professionalism, and knowledge. They introduced the islands, shared local history, and clearly explained the itinerary. Although the boat accommodates 42 passengers, there were only 24 guests on our tour, which made the experience feel spacious and personal. The vessel was exceptionally clean, safe, and comfortable, with excellent seating, large fresh beach towels, plentiful cold drinks, convenient power outlets for charging phones, and ample shade with a wonderful sea breeze. The wraparound deck and bow seating also provided spectacular, unobstructed views of the turquoise water and dramatic island scenery. We made six stops throughout the day, with Josh, Honey, and the five-person crew guiding us seamlessly at each one. The crew was especially attentive and helpful assisting guests on and off the boat. Swimming was entirely optional; at the first beach stop, I chose to relax in the shade while many others enjoyed the water. Of course, James Bond Island was the centerpiece of the trip, and Seanery’s timing could not have been better. We arrived before the area became overly crowded, allowing time for spectacular photographs and a more peaceful appreciation of the scenery. Josh and Honey went above and beyond, happily helping guests take photos with their own phones—and even using their phones to ensure everyone captured the moment. Hong Island was another extraordinary highlight. We transferred to canoes and were paddled through caves, beneath towering limestone cliffs, and into breathtaking hidden landscapes. The natural beauty was simply magnificent and felt like something out of a film. After a full and wonderfully paced day, we enjoyed a delicious chicken barbecue dinner during the cruise back to the marina, accompanied by a beautiful sunset. Our driver was waiting upon arrival, and I was back at my hotel shortly after 8:00 p.m.—nearly 12 hours after the adventure began. Seanery Panyee earns my highest recommendation for anyone visiting Phuket who wants a safe, exciting, relaxing, informative, and exceptionally well-run excursion to James Bond Island and Phang Nga Bay. This is not simply a tour—it is a first-class experience and an absolute must-do. My sincere thanks to Josh, Honey, and the entire Seanery crew for creating such a memorable day.

What a great day
We had a great day, from hotel pick up to return, everything went super smoothly. The boat was comfortable and the relaxed pace and mix of great scenery and activities worked well, Tour guide and boat crew were very friendly and accomodating for all our needs. The islands themselves and canoe trip through the caves along with swimming out to James Bond Island pillar were highlights as was the views when returning at sunset. Highly recommended!

James Bond Island Panyee Floating Village 55ft 42 seater motorise catamaran
We went on a day tour with Seanery on their 55ft 42 seater motorised catamaran. It went to Naka Island (sandy swimming beach), Phang Nga Bay (Sea Cave Canoe), Panyee Island (floating Island for lunch and look around), James Bond Island and Panka Island (swimming and SUP boards). It was a new boat and very clean with great amenities. Coco and Dino took amazing care of us. Both were very informative and attentive. Communication was great. The crew were amazing and provided a well organised and professional tour. Couldn’t have asked for more. We were very fortunate that only 6 people including ourselves were booked for this trip. We were picked up from our hotel and transferred to the boat. The transfer was well organised and hassle free. On the boat we were well taken care off. The food and drinks were plentiful. The snack box and BBQ dinner was fresh and delicious, A buffet lunch was provided on the floating island. It was traditional and tasted amazing. The itinerary covered a great range of location and activities. We were really happy with what it covered and the time spend at each location. We booked it through our hotel who recommended this tour for us. So grateful they did. We found the cost to be well worth it. Everything was included. Couldn’t fault it.

Need to be quite fit to disembark. Crew were definitely needed. Such amazing scenery. Had a lovely lunch on Panyee island. If you want to do in style this tour was great. Small group and the crew were fantastic mama Coco, Leo, Dino and all crew were outstanding we had the best day. Cruising back with the sun setting.

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
James bond Island & Panyee Floating Village boat tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phuket.
How much does James bond Island & Panyee Floating Village boat tour cost?
+
Prices start at $3500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phuket usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does James bond Island & Panyee Floating Village boat tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phuket is not rushed.
Is James bond Island & Panyee Floating Village boat tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phuket, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule James bond Island & Panyee Floating Village boat tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is James bond Island & Panyee Floating Village boat tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book James bond Island & Panyee Floating Village boat tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phuket can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phuket and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does James bond Island & Panyee Floating Village boat tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phuket within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phuket?
+
On Outty we rank every Phuket experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Southern Flavors Phuket Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, James Bond Island by Big Boat w/ Sea Cave Canoeing and Lunch, Phang Nga Bay Canoeing & James Bond Island Tour from Phuket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phuket?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phuket?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
