    Great tour and guide!

This is the perfect tour for someone looking to explore Jakarta in half a day. We learned a lot of history. Our guide, Ivan, was very knowledgeable on the Indonesian history and we learned many new things. We didn’t get to see the Mosque due to an event the day we went but the Cathedral was beautiful. My favorite part was the puppet studio. It was surprisingly interesting. Great tour and guide!

The guest support was excellent throughout – very responsive, helpful, and professional. The tour itself was amazing! Our Guide Hany was such an amazing tour guide, wow! I cannot express how greatful we were for having taken the tour and having her as a guide. We learned so much and Hany easily adapted to our wishes.

    Good experience

Ine our guide and the driver were super helpful and supportive. We really appreciated the flexibility to make this the best experience for us. 5 Stars for the kindness and support to keep us safe and happy during the whole trip. She also organized 2 local guides explaining us more about the old town and the puppet show tradition. 4 Stars since the places to visit in Jakarta are a limited experience by itself and because we would have wished to receive some more historical and social insights. There were also some misunderstandings for the booking with the agency (not related to the guide itself).

Response from the operator: Dear Ms. Julia, We are misunderstand between a price option booking, shared group is corncern to collective. 2 person is extra, eventhough at any platforms, all providers do same things with respect to the price. Shared is light for price both collective money and people, private is rather heavy but all make you flexible and more faster service. "Price never be lie with quality" We are honored by your exquisite contibution review of Tripedia Indonesia. It brings us immense joy to know your experience was exceptional. Your compliments about our impeccable services are deeply appreciated. We are dedicated to providing a luxurious service and memorable experience, and it’s rewarding to hear we succeeded. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you back. Warmest regards,

We had the second great time with this company, Enok as our guide and Ifan as taking no risks, Informative, friendly and engage, She made the tour very accomodative. We had a group tour visited the mosque, cathedral, old town and harbour. We only had a couple of days in Jakarta again and call to book and we were not disappointed. The driver, Ifan was super professional and negotiated several tricky hour to drop the last. Would definitely recommend!

Jakarta Half Day Visit The Monument with Highlight City Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jakarta.

How much does Jakarta Half Day Visit The Monument with Highlight City Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jakarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Jakarta Half Day Visit The Monument with Highlight City Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jakarta is not rushed.

Is Jakarta Half Day Visit The Monument with Highlight City Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jakarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Jakarta Half Day Visit The Monument with Highlight City Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Jakarta Half Day Visit The Monument with Highlight City Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Jakarta Half Day Visit The Monument with Highlight City Tour?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jakarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jakarta and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Jakarta Half Day Visit The Monument with Highlight City Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jakarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Jakarta?

    +

On Outty we rank every Jakarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jakarta Half-Day Guided Tour with a Private Fun Local Host, Jakarta Half-Day Sightseeing Tour To Modern City and Old Town, Active Volcano, Rice Field, Hot Spring, Fruit market, Tea Plantation with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Jakarta?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Jakarta?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
