Rise and shine! It is 8:00 am and perfect time to start our journey. Our first stop is the most beautiful and best preserved fortress in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Old Forth of Travnik was constructed in 14th century during Kingdom of Bosnia, but the present appearance is the result of the Ottoman builders.

Next stop is the city of Jajce. Open sky museum with waterfall in the center of the city. While you walk towards the Jajce Fortress and when you pass through the city gates you will enter in a city built for kings. Catacombs of Jajce is the name given by locals to underground Christian small church so it is not a "catacomb" in true sense. Church has been carved in a single rock or a cave in late Romanesque style.

Mlincici
Watermills located on river Pliva are only 5 kilometers away from center of Jajce. Twenty watermills dating since medieval period are built between Small and Large Pliva lake. Because of fairy-tale appearance they make amazing place for photos. Amazing enough, some of them are still in use. After the Watermills we rest next to the banks of Pliva lake, which is the best place to have a lunch and get ready to come back to Sarajevo.

An excellent introduction to Bosnia
We really enjoyed the tour! It was our first tour in English, and everything went wonderfully—largely thanks to our guide Ahmed’s attentiveness to the group. Learning about the history of Bosnia was fascinating; the commentary was peppered with jokes, which really helped us absorb the information. It was an engaging experience, and the views were stunning. We had plenty of time to explore Travnik and Jajce and to spend time at the small watermills.

Book it you won’t regret it
My day trip with Dream Balkan tours was excellent. From the pick up at a local hotel, Asim running the tours and organising all guests into their groups to our driver and tour guide Mirza. He was super friendly, full of knowledge about the history of each place we went to, accommodating for those of us who needed a stop along the way back. I booked these tours to see beyond the city, to discover things as a solo traveller I'd never see without a car. The whole tour puts you at ease, I had a wonderful group who I've become friends with and went on to have dinner with for two nights of the trip making my experience in Sarajevo even better. A huge thank you for sharing your country with us Mirza, for making us fall in love with it and for the well organised trip! I can't wait already to come back. Highly Recommend the tour and our guide Mirza!
Our tour guide Mirza was awesome, my fiance and I really enjoyed this tour! We were lucky to only had 1 other couple with us so we were able to take our time and really enjoy the sights. Mirza was very knowledgeable and just a fun personality to be around. We had plenty of time to venture out on our and explore which we loved. My fiance and I are picky eaters and tour guide made sure to customize our sandwich order which we really appreciated. Overall Highly recommend this tour!

Great weather, great guide, great tour
According to weather fotecasts a few days before the trip it was supposed to rain, But it really changed to the better. Mirza, our guide, was a real sport - Very informative and talkative. Well balaced time to explore each place and even some time for a coffee or a beer at the watermills before the long jurney back to Sarajevo. With this trip I have now visited Bosnia, Herzegovina and Srpska…

A lovely day
This was a lovely day with a very kind and flexible guide. It was definitely a long day, but well worth it. Our guide took us to the farthest site first, which was good because we got to rest a little longer before the day started. It also made the rest of the car trips feel much shorter.
