Fabulous trip, fabulous crew!
We took a catamaran from Villa del Palmar to Isla Mujeres, with a snorkeling stop on the way. Our guide, Oliver, and crew of Capitán Luis and Diego and Luis were fantastic! We’ve been on several of these types of excursions and this crew was top notch! Attentive (but not overly so), liberal with beverages and entertainingly humorous! Highly recommend!

LIARS
DO NOT BOOK. SCAM ARTISTS. My girlfriend and I waited for transportation for more than one hour. We called the company directly, contacted viator, and had our hotel staff contact them. When they responded after 30 minutes we were told the driver would be 5 minutes away and they never came. Instead of apologizing thwy are continuing to lie. There are better and cheaper catamaran tours available. THEY ALSO ARE TRYING TO GET MY GIRLFRIENDS REVIEW TAKEN DOWN. They are liars, incompetent, unorganized and untrustworthy. DO NOT BOOK
Response from the operator: I did apologize and if it works I do apoligize one more time We made waste 2 hours of your holiday time and im sorry for that,we made a full refund you so i think you can let it go, if you keep staying angry is not healthy for you

SCAM COMPANY
We had this tour confirmed for more than 4 months and nobody picked us up from the lobby. I called tour operator several times and they hung up on me twice. I also talked to a representative the day prior just to confirm and they still were able to mess this up. DO NOT BOOK, save your money!
Response from the operator: I really do not accept you call our company with this name,no one of our staff stole any money from you Our driver came to the hotel and he did not found you, you can believe it or not but this is waht happen, the phone number you provided on your reservation was not working. Only 1 hour and half after your pick up time I was able to reach you at your phone and i apologize personally for not be able to bring you on the tour i offered you to change for another day you said you will be leaving next day so i told you will get full refund. I cannot say much more we will work to improve our pick up standard and provide to get signed from the hotels receptionist a relasein case of missed pickup. Take care

Great day on the water!
The boat staff was extremely fun, friendly and helpful. There is a $15 fee per person when you get to the marina that wasn’t mentioned in the booking process so make sure you bring plenty of cash. Overall great day.
Response from the operator: Thanks for your great review About the boarding fee is mentioned on the what included window.! We look forward to having you back and take the chance to discover different experiences.

Why this scores 45
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Isla Mujeres Sailing Adventure from Cancun: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Isla Mujeres Sailing Adventure from Cancun cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Isla Mujeres Sailing Adventure from Cancun take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Isla Mujeres Sailing Adventure from Cancun worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Isla Mujeres Sailing Adventure from Cancun?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Isla Mujeres Sailing Adventure from Cancun suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Isla Mujeres Sailing Adventure from Cancun?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Isla Mujeres Sailing Adventure from Cancun start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
