It's ok... But I'm sure there are better excursions, so do some research.

There were A LOT of people on the boat. I didn't realize when I booked it that it was a party boat with all these people. Didn't lower the rating because of that, but warning that if you are looking for a small snorkeling excursion, keep looking. Might have been the language barrier but the staff seemed rude. I asked if I could take my life preserver off when I snorkeling, the staff member scoffed, rolled his eyes and said no. The overall tone was harsh, but again, might be the language barrier. The snorkeling SUCKED! There were so many other boats around this 'reef' that you only saw a few schools of fish. Not the colorful ones shown in the photos. I didn't even turn my GoPro on if that tells you anything about the lack of quality of fish. My wife and I stopped looking in the water after 10 to 15 minutes because there was nothing to see. The equipment was worn out and needs replaced. I have done MANY snorkeling excursions so know what I am doing and how to fit my mask. I would tighten the strap and as soon as i would put it on, it would loosen back up and fill back with water. Really didn't matter since there wasn't much to look at in the water. You were forced to wear your life jacket so you couldn't dive down, again, not that it mattered. But there were some statues that i would have like to have gotten a closer look at but nope, life preserver stopped me from going down. The fact they had 1 bartender and all these people took a while to get a drink sucked, but you could get as much as you wanted so that's a positive. The meal on the Isla was good. You get 90 minutes there to eat and drink all you want. The staff at the restaurant was very attentive and kept our drinks full. Then you had like 2 hours to do what you wanted to do. We chose the beach which was nice. All honesty, keep looking for a different 'snorkeling' excursion unless you want to drink.

Response from the operator: For any readers: The tour is advertised as a party boat, the snorkeling was never the theme nor focus of the tour The tour was advertised as a shared tour along with the amount of people in the boat Your entire review and bad comments are about the snorkel The life vest is mandatory at all times due to the underwater currents For your future tours please make sure to read all the information before booking, to avoid negative experiences and reviews

Book now! You won’t regret it!

I absolutely recommended this excursion & this company! The crew is awesome! Friendly, helpful, & fun! The water is breathtakingly beautiful! The included buffet lunch & time on the beach was wonderful! The snorkeling isn’t for everyone b/c the water was a bit rough, but it may have just been the day we went (January). It didn’t detract from the fun at all. Isla Mujeres is gorgeous! If you are on the fence, book it! It’s worth every penny! Overall I give it a 10/10!

Response from the operator: We gladly accept your kind words. It's great to know that you loved the tour, the island, the staff and the overall party! Isla Mujeres is indeed a magical place where you get the chance for new experiences, friends and stories We hope to welcome you again soon

Wonderful time on the water!

From start to finish this was a great excursion. The boat was clean and the masked crew made sure to give everyone hand sanitizer plus spray our shores before we got on. Once aboard we were given clear instructions in English/Spanish. The crew were very friendly and attentive....constantly going to each person to see if they needed anything. The trip itself was beautiful as was Isle Mujeres.

Isla Mujeres Catamaran Adventure All Inclusive from Cancun: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Adventure All Inclusive from Cancun cost?

+

Prices start at $57 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Adventure All Inclusive from Cancun take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Isla Mujeres Catamaran Adventure All Inclusive from Cancun worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Isla Mujeres Catamaran Adventure All Inclusive from Cancun?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Isla Mujeres Catamaran Adventure All Inclusive from Cancun suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Isla Mujeres Catamaran Adventure All Inclusive from Cancun?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Adventure All Inclusive from Cancun start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

+

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
