Do it! You won’t regret it!

An outstanding experience. Chloe, our guide, was super knowledgeable and made the whole night fun. Learning how to make cocktails was a lot of fun. The Tayto break was a lovely surprise!

    Great fun! Worth the money!

Went with my partner for something to do. we had a fantastic lady called chole, hard to put into words how great she was. she got us all some water so we could have something inbetween cocktails, she gave us crisps. she was excelent at explaining about each cocktail and the history behind it and made sure to engage with everyone. honestly the experience was already good but chole made it extra great so thankyou! you get 3 cocktails but you also get to sample each of the whiskeys if you would like too. you do every step of the porcess of the cocktail making and you have time inbetween to socialise with everyone and drink your drink. you can also win an extra one through a quize! thinking about returning around christmas if they have a seasonal one on! (chloe if you see this you were fantastic and we appreciate you!-katie and chris)

    Great experience!

We had a great time! The workshop ended up being a private lesson as we were the only ones who had booked a spot for that evening which was a nice surprise! It was a really fun evening, learning a bit about the Irish whiskey history and how to make the different cocktails which tasted great (even for someone new to whiskey). Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who’s visiting the area!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review. We’re delighted to hear you had such a great experience and enjoyed the workshop, especially the surprise of a private session. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed learning about Irish whiskey history and the cocktail-making experience, and that it worked well even for those new to whiskey. We really appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again in the future.

Highly recommend - Chloe is fantastic!

We had an amazing experience at the Irish Whiskey Museum cocktail masterclass. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organised and welcoming. Chloe, our mixologist, was fantastic. Her knowledge and passion really shone through, and she made the whole session engaging and enjoyable from start to finish. She struck the perfect balance between teaching and keeping things fun. The little touches made a real difference, including a glass of whiskey on arrival, quizzes throughout, and snacks during the session. It all added to the overall experience and made it feel great value. I would highly recommend this as something to do in Dublin, even if you don’t usually like whiskey. A really memorable and enjoyable experience.

    Highly Recommended Must Due

We visited The Whiskey Museum and took the cocktail-making class with Briein, and it was absolutely fantastic! We had a blast—mixing delicious drinks, learning fun new techniques, and laughing the entire time. It truly felt like hanging out with a great friend who also happens to be an amazing instructor. We can’t recommend this experience with Briein enough—you’ll love every minute of it!

Irish Whiskey Museum Whiskey Cocktail Masterclass: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.

How much does Irish Whiskey Museum Whiskey Cocktail Masterclass cost?

    +

Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Irish Whiskey Museum Whiskey Cocktail Masterclass take?

    +

Plan for about 1.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.

Is Irish Whiskey Museum Whiskey Cocktail Masterclass worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Irish Whiskey Museum Whiskey Cocktail Masterclass?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Irish Whiskey Museum Whiskey Cocktail Masterclass suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Irish Whiskey Museum Whiskey Cocktail Masterclass?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 1.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Irish Whiskey Museum Whiskey Cocktail Masterclass start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dublin?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dublin?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dublin?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
