Adolf Hitler made Munich its "capital of the movement". After the horrors of the bloody Soviet Republic, Hitler's dreams of power found fertile ground in Munich. We are following the traces of the dictator's seizure of power and the regime of terror: from the first mass event of the NSDAP in the Hofbräukeller to the failed attempted coup in 1923 at Odeonsplatz to Königsplatz, where the party's first mass parades took place. We stop in the courtyard garden to talk about the resistance. We visit all the important squares and buildings that played a role in this dark part of Munich's history, which ended in the destruction of this beautiful city

Informative and entertaining - even for a young audience

Hello, the tour was very informative and entertaining! Our kids (13, 15, and 16 years old) were also very interested and rated the tour as "great." The tour guide has excellent knowledge and is interested in exchanging ideas. He also actively engaged the teenagers again and again. Anyone who doesn't know Marienplatz doesn't know that the tourist info is there, where you logically meet - more guidance from Tripadvisor would have been helpful there.

    +

What should I bring or wear?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Munich?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Munich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
