Excellent family experience!!
Family of 4, 2 adults + 2yo+ 9yo. We did the 2 days 1 night Zagora desert tour. Everything was very excellent!! The tour is very beautiful, the locations and the places to stop very nice as well. It was a long trip for the children to sit so long on the car, but they did manage very good because of how the stops are planned. The tea and dinner at the arrival to the camp was good as well. Yhe personnel from the dessert were extremely welcoming and kind, very good vibes at night as well with the other guests. The sleep inside the tent was difficult for (except for my 2yo) because of the lack of windows, so the 3 of us ended up sleeping outside and it was good. I haven’t seen so many stars in years! And we got to experience a very nice sunrise. We did skip the camel tour because l believe that this will make the trip a bit heavier for my youngest. Special mention to our driver Youssef, he is amazing! Very patient and kind. He gave us very interesting information and tips. Booked the trip by mail with Mohammed directly, which provided us with all the information we needed and recommendations to book this trip with them. He offered a very good and dedicated customer service. Overall this was an amazing experience! Strongly recommended 😊

A fabulous guide to an extraordinary day
What a beautiful day shared with our guide for this moment at the Ozoud Waterfalls. We did not see the travel time pass, the exchanges were exciting, learning about the history of Morocco and Marrakech was fabulous. In addition to being rewarding, the kindness and benevolence of our guide leaves a beautiful imprint in our hearts even today. For the next stay we come back to you it's obvious again thank you!

Amazing, unique day trip experience!
My husband and I were lucky enough to book a day trip from Fes to the Atlas Mountains and more through this company. We are here shortly after the earthquake and feel so lucky to be here- the cities are fully open for tourism and we had the best time. From the beginning, Mohammed was willing to work with us to make our trip unique and curated to our liking. He even accommodated a last minute switch. I highly recommend this tour if you’re hoping to get out of the city and see new sights, take in new scenery and meet amazing local people along the way. We fed friendly monkeys, walked “little Switzerland”, enjoyed coffee at our stop, and visited a Berber home. The most amazing people are welcoming you there. We were even luckier to have the amazing Abdel drive us. He felt like family after the tour was over. Book the trip- you won’t regret it and you’ll be back to Fes feeling like you explored something new and special!
Response from the operator: Dear Beloved Customer, We can't express enough how grateful we are for your kind words and for choosing our day trip to the Atlas Mountains. It was indeed a pleasure to have you and your husband join us, especially during this unique time. Your enthusiasm and adventurous spirit truly made the day even more delightful. We take great pride in crafting personalized experiences, and we're thrilled that Mohammed was able to create a tailored trip that left a lasting impression. Accommodating your last-minute switch and ensuring your satisfaction are of utmost importance to us. Exploring the Atlas Mountains, feeding friendly monkeys, strolling through "little Switzerland," savoring coffee, and visiting a Berber home are cherished memories we hope you'll carry with you. Abdel, our dedicated driver, is indeed an incredible asset to our team, and we're delighted you felt a strong connection with him. Your recommendation means the world to us, and we sincerely hope to welcome you back in the future for more adventures and exploration. Fes will always await your return with open arms and new discoveries. Warm regards, Desert Day Tours Team

Day in the Desert!
Youssef was an incredible and thoughtful tour guide, and made us feel entirely comfortable on our first full day in a new country! The tour was informative and every stop was another great addition to the day. Make sure you dress for the occasion - sneakers for sure, as the stop on the way up with the waterfall requires a few minutes of steep hiking on a rocky area - but so worth it!!
Response from the operator: Dear valued guest, We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to express our sincere appreciation for choosing Desert Day Tours for your recent day trip to the desert. We are thrilled to know that you had the opportunity to experience the beauty and wonder of the desert with us. Thank you for entrusting us with your travel arrangements and for allowing us to create a memorable experience for you. Your satisfaction is our utmost priority, and we are delighted to know that your day in the desert was enjoyable and memorable. We truly value your support and feedback. Should you decide to explore the desert again in the future, we would be honored to welcome you back and create another extraordinary adventure for you. Thank you for choosing Desert Day Tours as your travel partner. We eagerly await the opportunity to serve you again. Warmest regards, Mohammed

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Imlil and Atlas Mountains day trip: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Imlil and Atlas Mountains day trip cost?
+
Prices start at $97 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Imlil and Atlas Mountains day trip take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Imlil and Atlas Mountains day trip worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Imlil and Atlas Mountains day trip?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Imlil and Atlas Mountains day trip suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Imlil and Atlas Mountains day trip?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Imlil and Atlas Mountains day trip start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
