An unforgettable and thoughtful tour of Rhodes with an exceptional guide.
Our guide, Aga, did an outstanding job showing us the beauty and history of Rhodes while skillfully helping us avoid the crowds. His passion for the island and deep knowledge of its history truly enhanced the experience. We were also traveling with my 86-year-old mother, and Aga was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive to her throughout the day. Thanks to him, she thoroughly enjoyed the tour and felt comfortable the entire time. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rhodes!
Response from the operator: Thank you for such a fantastic review! We are so glad Aga was able to show you the beauty of Rhodes while keeping everyone comfortable and avoiding the crowds. Our team prides itself on offering thoughtful, personalized service, and it's wonderful to hear that your mother enjoyed the day so much. We hope to see you again in Rhodes one day! See some more of the island!
Our half-day tour to Lindos was just what I was looking for. It was great to get out of Rhodes City for awhile and be around the olive trees and forests. Lindos was beautiful as expected, and was extra great because our guide Nicholas made sure we got ahead of a big tour bus we saw heading the same way. We had the acropolis nearly all to ourselves for at least half an hour, which was fantastic. We mixed our tour with what they typically offer and cut a couple things and added another stop we were interested in, and Nicholas knew just the best way to do it. He's very knowledgeable and fun and passionate about Rhodes - just what you want in a guide. We learned a lot and had a great time.
Response from the operator: We sincerely appreciate you sharing your experience with us! It’s great to hear that Nicholas was able to provide a knowledgeable and fun tour while beating the big tour buses to Lindos. Customizing our tours to meet our guests' needs is something we take pride in. Thank you for choosing us for your private tour in Rhodes! Wish you many other great trips in the future Best regards Team of Rhodes Taxi Tours

Amazing day with Nikos!
Nikolas showed us all over the island and was the consummate host. He asked about our needs and wants and made sure he met each and every one. It was an incredible day on a lovely island. My niece lost her earring during the day and Nikos incredibly was called a few hours later by someone who knew someone else who knew he had been looking for something that was lost and she got it back! It would not have happened if not for Nikos and his familiarity with so many on the island. It made our day even better, if that was possible. We saw all of the sites, had a fabulous fresh fish lunch, and were able to get some local pottery to take home. The last thing I'll mention is Nikos' attention to detail. The third in our group is handicapped and needs assistance. Nikos made sure she was always cared for and when she chose to stay in the car he took her for a coffee. Now that is a wonderful host. We very much appreciated his time, kindness, and care while visiting Rhodes. We highly recommend Nikolas as a guide.
Response from the operator: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this incredibly moving review. It was truly an honor for Nicholas to host you and your family on our beautiful island. We are so happy that your niece’s earring was found! Rhodes may be an island, but it is also a tight-knit community, and Nikolas’s deep roots and connections here really shine in moments like these. It’s wonderful to know that a stressful moment turned into such a heartwarming story. We are glad you enjoyed the fresh fish lunch and found some local pottery to remember us by. We look forward to welcoming you all back to Rhodes in the future! Warmest regards Team of Rhodes Taxi Tours

Rhodes to Lindos from a cruise ship.
Our driver, Vasilis, met us at the ship and took us on a 5 hour tour of Rhodes in an S Class Mercedes. His English was excellent as he told us about the history of Rhodes and what life in Rhodes is currently like. We stopped at many beautiful spots for photos. We went to the Acropolis of Lindos. We asked to be dropped off at a local restaurant before returning to the cruise ship.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are delighted that your time in Rhodes was such a highlight of your cruise. Assisting our guests with local recommendations, like a traditional restaurant, is always our pleasure to ensure you get an authentic taste of Rhodes before heading back to your ship. We hope to welcome you back for another tour the next time your travels bring you to our shores! Team of Rhodes Taxi Tours

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Iconic Rhodes & Lindos Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rhodes.
How much does Iconic Rhodes & Lindos Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $378 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rhodes usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Iconic Rhodes & Lindos Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rhodes is not rushed.
Is Iconic Rhodes & Lindos Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 77 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rhodes, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Iconic Rhodes & Lindos Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Iconic Rhodes & Lindos Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Iconic Rhodes & Lindos Private Tour?
+
Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rhodes can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rhodes and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Iconic Rhodes & Lindos Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rhodes within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rhodes?
+
On Outty we rank every Rhodes experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Makarounas Fishing Boat Trip with swimming stop and BBQ on board, Athens cruise: Agistri, Moni/Metopi, Aegina with lunch & drinks, Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rhodes?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rhodes?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
