Since the park is far...
Since the park is far outside of the city in a rural area, we added the transportation option. Kiryll, our driver, was fabulous. We enjoyed talking with him on the drive and learned so much from him. Once we arrived, we played with the husky puppies before learning commands to use with the adults on our trek. It was about 2.5 miles, which was the perfect length. Great activity!

Great experience
We had great weather and wonderful "companion dogs." We were also able to meet and pet all the others there. The path is beautiful, and thanks to the harness for the dogs, I did not experience any back pain during the walk (which I usually always get). The pickup was super punctual. All in all, a fantastic experience!

This was the most fun and...
This was the most fun and enjoyable experience we had while we were in Lithuania. All the huskies are lovely and we enjoyed the walk in the forest so much. The dogs are well behaved (they listed when you command them to slow down or to stop for a small break).

Huskey trekking
Amazing experience. We were picked up in central Vilnius and then driven about 40-45 minutes to the Huskey village. All the dogs were so friendly and the trekking was superb, was about 4 miles and took just over an hour. Special shout out to Fanta, the Huskey I had with me who was gorgeous. Afterwards we sat by a little fire with tea and biscuits and met some lovely puppies. All the staff were very friendly. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

lovely walk in a quiet area with beautiful dogs
We chose to get the transport from Vilnius and were picked up at our hotel and drove about 45 minutes to get to the national park, which is home to about 20+ dogs. When we arrived, we met all the dogs, including some 5-week-old pointer puppies, and were then given two huskies to walk with. We wore waist belts and the dogs lead us on about a 3.5/4 mi hike around a lake. The terrain was mostly flat. We walked at a decent pace but I could tell the dogs would also happily run! When we got back, we were offering coffee and chocolate before getting a ride back to the city. We learned the area is also used for a children's summer camp. it was a bit buggy in the woods (early September), but otherwise a fantastic experience. Upon booking, the host immediately wrote to me to explain the confirmation process, and confirmed our trip based on the forecast two days prior.

Husky Trekking in Natural Park near Vilnius: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vilnius.
How much does Husky Trekking in Natural Park near Vilnius cost?
+
Prices start at $16 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vilnius usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Husky Trekking in Natural Park near Vilnius take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vilnius is not rushed.
Is Husky Trekking in Natural Park near Vilnius worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vilnius, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Husky Trekking in Natural Park near Vilnius?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Husky Trekking in Natural Park near Vilnius suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Husky Trekking in Natural Park near Vilnius?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vilnius can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vilnius and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Husky Trekking in Natural Park near Vilnius start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vilnius within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Vilnius?
+
On Outty we rank every Vilnius experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Admission Ticket at Auto Museum Vilnius, Regular walking tour of Soviet Vilnius, Regular walking tour of Jewish Vilnius. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Vilnius?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vilnius?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
