Mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang
Picking up at your hotel, our tour guide and driver will drive you to the first tomb, The tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, Who had 600 concubines, 142 children and 78 sons. It is such a very nice and meaningful tomb with a lot of stuff (PRE- prepared while he was still alive). Everything inside the tomb have never been used in the past, only for his after-life. Our tour guide will tell you a scary secret.

Tomb of Khai Dinh
After the beautiful Minh Mang tomb, we will go to explore the WOW WOW Tomb- The tomb of 12th Emperor of Nguyen dynasty, Emperor Khai Dinh. That is the smallest tomb but it has as known as the most expensive and beautiful tomb in the tomb system of the Nguyen dynasty and over the World. Therefore, nowadays, it is one of the new heritages of the world. You would say twice “WOW, WOW” I promise you.

Tomb of Tu Duc
The last one we will visit is the tomb of the 4th Emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, Emperor Tu Duc. Constructed between 1864 and 1867, it is the most popular and impressive of the royal mausoleums. Emperor Tu Duc designed it himself to use before and after his death. The enormous expense of the tomb and the forced labour used in its construction spawned a coup plot that was discovered and suppressed. Tu Duc’s tomb is 5km south of Hue on Van Nien Hill in Duong Xuan Thuong village. Our tour guide will tell you more and more about Emperor' life and his sadness.

Hue Royal Tombs tour
Booked the Hue Royal Tombs tour directly with operater Culture Pham Travel. Our trip with guide Mr. Hoang (Lee) and driver Mr. Hau was enjoyable, they picked us up from our hotel and took good care of us. We visited three tombs (Emperors Khai Din, Minh Mang, and Tu Duc). They were a distance from each other and it was good to have personal transport in the sweltering heat. We also visited an incense and conical hat making shop. Lee gave good explanations about the places we visited, answered all my questions and gave recommendations for things to do after the tour. He was patient with my husband's recovering knee injury (which meant he couldn't handle stairs well). The driver was also friendly and patient, and we appreciated it the ice cold water and wet towels. Recommend this tour if you are seeking the convenience of having personal transport and guide.

Excellent experience
I booked a private tour for Hue tombs one day in advace. The communication was very good and we agreed on logistic. My tour guide was Mr. Tuan with driver Mr. De. The tour was really good, T. was very good guide, lots of informations and knowledge. Thank you both for a lovely day.

Great tour with mr De and mr Hao
We visited different tombs with our great tour guide mr. Hao and driver mr De. Mr Hao knew a lot about the tombs but also told us inspiring stories about the culture of Vietnam. He knew the history of Vietnam very well. His knowledge gave us a lot of insight into culture and history of Vietnam. We also did a tour with a Dragon boat on the Perfume river to visite a pegoda.

Amazing tour guide and accommodating tour company!
The tour company was prompt and accommodating - they responded to my WhatsApp message immediately and let me tailor our itinerary. It was very smooth getting to the dragonboat on the wharf, meeting our guide, and going between each location with a driver or by boat. The tour guide, Ruby, was absolutely wonderful! She knew so much history and information about Vietnam and was very kind. She gave us so many local food spots to try as well! The tour was wonderful overall, but I would make a suggestion for more careful planning so that all the sights can be viewed during daylight. Thank you to Ruby for such an amazing day!! Would highly recommend this company (Phong Nha Travels) and Ruby as the tour guide for your time in Hue!

We saw some wonderful cultural and historical sites on this tour ,The whole experience was greatly enhanced by our wonderful guide Fi. My sister has mobility issues and we were not sure how fully she would be able to participate but Fi supported and encouraged her every step of the way.,Also because this was a private tour we are able to visit additional sites which added greatly to the total experience .
