To be free to fly high.

I was given a birthday gift; I decided to take advantage of it this year, and I must say it was a wonderful experience from the very beginning. Friendly people, interesting hot air balloon preparation, clear explanations on how to behave before and after takeoff and landing, and the flight was fantastic. I have no words; I can only say that it is an experience to have at least once in a lifetime.

    A different adventure than usual

I received as a gift a voucher for a balloon flight and decided to live this experience with my son. It was really great, in every way. The thing that struck us most was being able to watch all the preparation from the beginning: seeing the basket placed on the ground, the big balloon completely deflated and then watching step by step how it was inflated with air until it took shape was fascinating. It was great to understand how a hot air balloon really works, not just get on board. The flight was exciting, impressive and unlike any other experience so far. An exciting moment that made us have a lot of fun and that we will remember for a long time. The organization was impeccable and, at the end of the flight, we were also presented with a souvenir diploma and toasted together: a perfect ending to a special experience. I absolutely recommend it!

...touching the sky with a finger is possible!

Being 'free' at 700 meters from the ground is a good feeling, it seems to you to touch the sky with a finger and, even if only for a short time, your mind is free of everything! thanks to my better half for giving us a moment of lightness!

Response from the operator: È stato un piacere condividere con voi questo momento speciale… e complimenti a chi ha avuto l'idea della splendida sorpresa! 😉

    Private balloon flight

Beautiful experience, unique in its kind, being carried away by the wind is a unique emotion, we were very good, friendly and helpful staff, professional, to do at least once in a lifetime. Also to be repeated. Me, my wife and our 2 children were really happy. Very nice and professional Ronnie driver. Exclusive private flight really deserves it.

Response from the operator: Gentile Luca, grazie mille per la tua recensione e per aver volato con noi, ci fa molto piacere :)

I will go up... I will go up...

We were enchanted, and everything was above all expectations (which we did not have). Highly recommended x all those who wish to leave the ballasts of life on the ground for a few moments! Special thanks to Pilot Riccardo, balloon artist! Perfect organization in every detail! Thank you all. Nadia and David.

Response from the operator: Carissimi Nadia e Davide, che gioia leggere le vostre parole!

Hot air balloon flight Milan Monday-Friday: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.

How much does Hot air balloon flight Milan Monday-Friday cost?

    +

Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hot air balloon flight Milan Monday-Friday take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.

Is Hot air balloon flight Milan Monday-Friday worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hot air balloon flight Milan Monday-Friday?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Hot air balloon flight Milan Monday-Friday suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Hot air balloon flight Milan Monday-Friday?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hot air balloon flight Milan Monday-Friday start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Milan?

    +

On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Milan?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Milan?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
