Highly recommend
This was a great trip and highly recommend. We got to go into the lagoon, and plenty of swimming time too! Guide was great, and ensured we had a great experience, and tried to avoid the crowds for us too.

Hong Island was every bit as beautiful as the photos
The water around Hong Island was gorgeous and kayaking was a nice bonus. We visited during a busy period, so there were quite a few boats, but once on the beach it still felt peaceful.

Too many people
It’s like a production line. So many people. You had to queue to get on and off the islands. It was awful. But then the whole Krabi area is completely overrun with tourists.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback with us. We are truly sorry to hear that the experience felt crowded and did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, Krabi and its surrounding islands are very popular destinations, especially during peak travel periods, and this can sometimes result in congestion at certain locations. We completely understand how queues and large numbers of visitors can detract from the enjoyment of such beautiful places. Your comments are greatly appreciated and help us reflect on how we can better manage timing and guest flow where possible, as well as set clearer expectations for future visitors. Thank you again for sharing your perspective. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide an even more enjoyable experience. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Amazing beaches, dismissive guide
The tour starts very late, after 10 a.m., when the sun is already very strong. The tour should start much earlier. The snorkeling experience was not good. The boat was parked in a low-tide area where there were jellyfish and sea urchins. I accidentally stepped on a sea urchin, and the tour guide kept saying it was “okay” and not to worry. However, I still had spines stuck in my foot and had to go to a medical clinic after the tour to have them removed, as it was very painful, inflamed, and at risk of infection. The tour guide was very dismissive of the situation and did not provide any guidance or advice on what to do. The beaches themselves are undeniably beautiful, but they get extremely crowded, as expected. It is also disappointing that all the beaches had designated smoking areas. It’s hard to understand why smoking is allowed in a national park that is meant to be protected and preserved.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We truly regret to hear that several aspects of the tour did not meet your expectations, and we sincerely apologize for the discomfort and distress you experienced. We understand your concern regarding the late start time and agree that beginning earlier could help avoid the strongest sun and improve overall comfort. We are especially sorry to learn about your snorkeling incident and the injury caused by the sea urchin. Your experience and the pain you described are absolutely not something we take lightly. We sincerely apologize that the response you received at the time was inadequate and that proper guidance and care were not provided. This does not reflect the level of attention and responsibility we strive to offer our guests, and your feedback will be addressed with our guiding team to ensure better training and response in similar situations. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention. We are truly sorry for the negative aspects of your experience and will use your feedback to work toward meaningful improvements. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Hong Islands One Day Tour From Krabi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krabi.
How much does Hong Islands One Day Tour From Krabi cost?
+
Prices start at $38 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krabi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Hong Islands One Day Tour From Krabi take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krabi is not rushed.
Is Hong Islands One Day Tour From Krabi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 129 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krabi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Hong Islands One Day Tour From Krabi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Hong Islands One Day Tour From Krabi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Hong Islands One Day Tour From Krabi?
+
Around 45 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krabi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krabi and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Hong Islands One Day Tour From Krabi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krabi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krabi?
+
On Outty we rank every Krabi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Phi Phi Islands Tour with Lunch from Krabi, Phi Phi Early Bird & 4 Islands - Day Tour by Speedboat From Krabi, Railay and 4-Island Sunset Speedboat Cruise with Night Snorkel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krabi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krabi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
