    Trip advisor failure

Doing this to reach out to trip advisor who has been appealing in customer service. I booked this and my money was taken. Turns out the organiser had asked that her class be taken down for the time being and that she was closed. I had no way to reach trip advisor to get my refund or get rebooked. I am stranded for a day in Phuket and disappointed at having no class. The complaints engine is not functioning for myself and several of my friends so trip advisor also has a site issue. Very disappointed ☹️

Amazing, authentic and fun Thai cooking class

Thanks Bee for an amazing and authentic Thai cooking day. From the shopping in the local market, the fun food prep, the informative cooking and the delicious food (even I managed to cook). It was a great family experience, even our 15 year old daughter had an amazing time. It has been one of our highlights on our Thailand adventure. And thanks to Benjamin for picking us up from Kamala and dropping us back. And very touched by the surprise birthday cake at the end. We would all highly recommend Bee’s personal Thai cooking class.

    A great personalised experience!

Yesterday we took a class with B. A great experience! She adopted the lesson perfectly to fulfil all our wishes. She took good care of us, picked us up at the hotel and guided us through the local Thai market.

Have fun learning to cook in Phuket with B!

This cooking class was so much fun! We met B at the market and she helped us get ingredients for the 4 meals we were preparing: green curry, pad see ew, papaya salad, and mango sticky rice. She also bought me a couple random items I was curious about in the market. She brought along her adorable daughter Maria (who came along for the market ice cream). Then she drove us back to her place, where we donned our aprons and began to prepare the green curry paste. B will ask for every meal whether you want to do it the hard way or take a short cut. Unless you are pressed on time, I would say always do the hard way. She gave us plenty of time to take pictures as we were cooking. After we were done, she recommended a little massage parlor down the road where we had the best and cheapest Thai massage we’ve had in Phuket or Bangkok. You may ask, what makes this cooking class better than any of the other ones in Phuket? B only does one group at a time, so you get a lot of individual attention. She tailors it very much to the experience you want, and will cook any meal you want rather than limiting you to a specific menu. B has a great sense of humor, and she will show you how to make the healthy version of each food if you want, instead of the street food style you may be used to. That way you can make it for healthy dinners when you get back home.

Home Style Family class with fruit carving and market tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krabi.

How much does Home Style Family class with fruit carving and market tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $821 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krabi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Home Style Family class with fruit carving and market tour take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krabi is not rushed.

Is Home Style Family class with fruit carving and market tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krabi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Home Style Family class with fruit carving and market tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Home Style Family class with fruit carving and market tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Home Style Family class with fruit carving and market tour?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krabi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krabi and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Home Style Family class with fruit carving and market tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krabi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krabi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krabi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Phi Phi Islands Tour with Lunch from Krabi, Phi Phi Early Bird & 4 Islands - Day Tour by Speedboat From Krabi, Railay and 4-Island Sunset Speedboat Cruise with Night Snorkel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krabi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krabi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
