Worth it!

Our tour of Central Park was one of the highlights of our trip to New York City. The park itself is absolutely beautiful, and exploring its iconic landmarks, hidden gems, and rich history made for an unforgettable experience. From the scenic pathways to the breathtaking views, every stop along the way offered something unique and memorable. The tour was well-paced, informative, and gave us a much deeper appreciation for one of the world's most famous urban parks. What truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Noah. His knowledge of Central Park and New York City was impressive, but even more importantly, his enthusiasm and personality made the tour engaging and fun from start to finish. Noah was friendly, approachable, and always happy to answer questions, making everyone feel welcome and included. His passion for sharing the park's stories and history brought each location to life. We couldn't have asked for a better guide, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed exploring Central Park and that Noah’s knowledge, enthusiasm, and friendly approach made the experience so memorable. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again on another tour soon!

We had THE BEST time on...

We had THE BEST time on the Home Alone 2 and Elf Locations Tour in Central Park with Max and MJ. There were 6 of us, 2 adults and 4 children, including an infant. The weather wasn't great, but they made us very comfortable, with warm blankets and rain covers. Despite the weather, we had such a wonderful and memorable time. All of the locations we were taken to were absolutely beautiful. It was so relaxing, and we enjoyed the scenery and all the special locations we were shown. Max's knowledge of the history of the area was extremely impressive and they both knew a lot about all of the scenes from the movies. Both Max and MJ were very patient with the kids and made it extra fun for them which was very kind. The kids are still talking about them! We would 100% recommend this tour and hope to get the opportunity to ride with Max and MJ again.

Response from the operator: Thank you for such a lovely review! We’re so happy to hear your whole family had such a memorable time with Max and MJ, even with the rainy weather. It’s wonderful that the kids enjoyed the experience so much and are still talking about it! We truly appreciate your recommendation and would love to welcome you back for another magical ride through Central Park in the future.

Fun tour to see all of Central Park

Max was our guide and he showed us all around the park and stopped in several spots for pictures or short walks. He had a lot of fun facts and knew so many neat park facts. Short but fun way to see the park.

Response from the operator: We’re so glad you had a fun time exploring Central Park with Max! It’s great to hear he shared lots of interesting facts and made the stops for photos and walks enjoyable. Perfect for a quick but memorable visit!

Fun and Festive Holiday Tour in Central Park

I joined the Home Alone 2 and Elf Locations Tour in Central Park, and it was a really enjoyable experience. The guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, sharing fun behind-the-scenes stories about the filming locations of both movies. It was exciting to see the spots from the films in real life — from iconic street corners to cozy corners in the park. The tour was well-paced, not too rushed, and offered plenty of opportunities for photos. I especially loved the festive atmosphere and how it really brought the holiday spirit to life. Walking through Central Park while learning these fun movie facts made the experience feel unique and memorable. Whether you’re a fan of Home Alone 2, Elf, or just enjoy holiday-themed tours, this trip is worth it. A fun, family-friendly way to explore Central Park with a bit of movie magic sprinkled in!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the festive holiday atmosphere and had fun exploring the filming locations of Home Alone 2 and Elf. It’s wonderful to know that the guide’s stories and the pace of the tour made your visit to Central Park memorable. We really appreciate your kind words and recommendation!

Home Alone 2 and Elf Locations Tour in Central Park: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New York.

How much does Home Alone 2 and Elf Locations Tour in Central Park cost?

+

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New York usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Home Alone 2 and Elf Locations Tour in Central Park take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New York is not rushed.

Is Home Alone 2 and Elf Locations Tour in Central Park worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New York, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Home Alone 2 and Elf Locations Tour in Central Park?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Home Alone 2 and Elf Locations Tour in Central Park suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Home Alone 2 and Elf Locations Tour in Central Park?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New York can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New York and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Home Alone 2 and Elf Locations Tour in Central Park start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New York within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New York?

+

New York has more bookable experiences than any other city on Outty, and the quality spread is brutal. Observation decks are commoditised, so we score them on timed-entry reliability and sunset slots. Food tours and borough walks are where the ranking really separates operators, and the top scores in the city all come from small-group guides. On Outty we rank every New York experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Grand Canyon VIP Helicopter Tour, Half-Day Bus Tour of NYC Top Highlights, NYC Bus Tour of Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens: Art, Food & Sports. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New York?

+

September to early November, and late April through June. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New York?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
