Historic Breeze through SAV
Great tour through downtown Savannah. So much knowledge and history that I had no idea of. Ron was extremely knowledgeable about everything. There was not one instance during the ride or stationary halts when he did not know the information. When any member of the group asked a question, he had a reply in seconds.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled you enjoyed exploring downtown Savannah and discovering so much of its rich history. Ron is passionate about sharing the city's stories, and it's great to hear his knowledge and ability to answer every question made such an impression. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to him. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope to welcome you back for another tour in the future!

Super fun tour - and keep the bikes!
We had a great tour with Melissa! First time in Savannah, and we love to bike, so this tour felt like a natural way to see the historic downtown and squares! What sold me on them over the other company was 1. the ear pieces (so you can hear everything) - awesome. 2. the option to keep the bikes after the tour (we turned ours in by closing around 5) We really enjoyed having the bikes for the day - were able to visit the farmers market in Forsyth Park, the Jepson Museum, and also hit up River St, so we were able to get around to see a lot! Getting around was easy on the bikes (always felt safe), the info/history was great and entertaining, and she even gave a lot of recommendations on food options which was a nice little bonus! It was a fun way to get the history of Savannah (esp in the heat - don't think we'd make it walking around for hours!). Highly recommend them for this bike tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We're thrilled you chose to explore Savannah with us and that Melissa helped make your first visit such a memorable one. We're glad you enjoyed the wireless earpieces and our all-day bike rental. It sounds like you made the most of your day with visits to the Forsyth Park Farmers Market, the Jepson Museum, and River Street! Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to see you again the next time you're in Savannah for another ride!

Sharing the city's fascinating history and hidden stories is one of our favorite parts of the tour, so it's great to hear you were able to keep using what you learned throughout the rest of your day. We'll be sure to pass your kind words along to Ron. Thanks again for riding with us—we hope to see you the next time you're back in Savannah!

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Historical Bike Tour of Savannah and Keep Bikes After Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Savannah.
How much does Historical Bike Tour of Savannah and Keep Bikes After Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Savannah usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Historical Bike Tour of Savannah and Keep Bikes After Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Savannah is not rushed.
Is Historical Bike Tour of Savannah and Keep Bikes After Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 403 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Savannah, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Historical Bike Tour of Savannah and Keep Bikes After Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Historical Bike Tour of Savannah and Keep Bikes After Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 13. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Historical Bike Tour of Savannah and Keep Bikes After Tour?
+
Around 141 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Savannah can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Savannah and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Historical Bike Tour of Savannah and Keep Bikes After Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Savannah within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Savannah?
+
Savannah is a walking city with a dense guide market, which means quality spread is wide. Historic district walks, Bonaventure Cemetery trips, trolley hop-on routes and ghost tours with tavern access make up most bookings. Outty Ranking leans on licensed-guide status and group size, since the squares get loud once a tour passes twenty people. On Outty we rank every Savannah experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Savannah Guided Walking Tour, Bonaventure Cemetery Walking Tour with Transportation, Haunted Savannah Booze and Boos Ghost Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Savannah?
+
March to May for azaleas, or October to November for cool evenings. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Savannah?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
