Amazing experience and excellent service!
I had booked a 60-minute ultralight flight, but the weather was very cloudy at first and the flight almost got cancelled. Luckily, after waiting for a while, the skies cleared and the weather turned out to be great — I was really lucky! You feel like a bird in the sky. After all everything is weather dependent. So they take the money after flight has happened. The team was extremely helpful and managed to arrange everything very quickly, especially since I had a flight back to Kathmandu to catch. After the flight, they provided the videos almost immediately and even dropped me directly at the airport, which was a huge help. Mostly their pick up and drop off is to the lake aide hotels. The flight itself was a great experience. I was hoping we would get a little closer to the mountains, as that was something I was really looking forward to. The pilot explained that we had reached the maximum possible distance, so I completely understand that safety and weather conditions come first. Still, getting a little closer to the mountains would have made the experience even more spectacular. Overall, the team was very professional, helpful and accommodating, and they really went out of their way to make everything work despite the weather and my tight schedule. A great experience with a fantastic and helpful team. Highly recommended!

Pokhara Ultralight Flight
One of the activities we were looking forward to the most was the Pokhara Ultralight Flight. This activity only can do if the weather conditions are good, the weather was perfect during our visit. Flights operate only in the morning, from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. We managed to get a 9:30 AM slot and chose the 30-minute flight package. The cost was USD 212 per person, and an additional USD 15 for the flight video. This was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Pokhara is a beautiful city surrounded by the majestic Annapurna Mountain Range and the famous Mount Fishtail (Machhapuchhre Himal). Pokhara Ultralight gives you the chance to feel like a bird as you fly through the sky in a micro-plane, incredible feeling of flying like a bird. From the micro-aircraft, we enjoyed spectacular aerial views of forests, lakes, rivers, villages, the surrounding landscape. The highlight of the journey was flying close to the snow-capped peaks of Mount. This was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure .

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Himalayas Ultra Light Aircraft flight: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.
How much does Himalayas Ultra Light Aircraft flight cost?
+
Prices start at $195 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Himalayas Ultra Light Aircraft flight take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.
Is Himalayas Ultra Light Aircraft flight worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 49 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Himalayas Ultra Light Aircraft flight?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Himalayas Ultra Light Aircraft flight suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Himalayas Ultra Light Aircraft flight?
+
Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Himalayas Ultra Light Aircraft flight start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pokhara?
+
On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pokhara?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pokhara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
