Wonderful experience
We had a beautiful hiking experience. Our guide was very helpful since I was on chemo and little slow. She even brought us a snack. Nuria easily communicated with me via WhatsApp before my trip and addressed all my concerns.

Awesome Barcelona Experience on a Road Less Traveled!
Highly recommend! A nature hike for a change of pace from the city, plenty of history and culture to experience, and pretty amazing views as a reward for your effort! We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day with spectacular views of Barcelona including Montserrat in the distance. Our guide Nuria was spot on with all aspects of the excursion. In addition to sharing her knowledge along a nicely paced hike, she was very thorough, sending helpful reminders, providing local recommendations and helping us navigate getting down the mountain. We knew we were in good hands the entire time.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Denise, for your beautiful and thoughtful review. It was a true pleasure guiding you on this hiking tour to Tibidabo and sharing this unique side of Barcelona with you. I’m so happy you enjoyed the balance between nature, history, and culture, and of course the spectacular panoramic views. Seeing Barcelona from the mountain, with Montserrat in the distance on a clear day, makes the experience truly unforgettable. My intention is always to create a safe, personalized, and exclusive experience, where guests can disconnect from the busy city and reconnect with nature, while discovering hidden stories and local insights along the way. Thank you as well for your kind words about the organization and guidance. Knowing you felt comfortable, well-informed, and in good hands means everything to me. I’m very grateful you chose this Barcelona hiking experience with a local guide, and I hope to welcome you again for another unique and memorable adventure.

Best way to get to Tibidabo? This.
Ok. So I’m 48 and out of shape. It was wet. Not pouring like the other few days but wet. Down tree, no problem. This is the guide’s personal signature trip, and I 100% recommend it. Rain or shine. She even had gluten free cookies for us and we chatted on the way back down the mountain. The views… oh the views. Don’t take a bus. Hike in the forest. I loved it! Thank you!!!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 🌿 I’m thrilled you enjoyed this personalized mountain hiking tour, the breathtaking forest views, and even the gluten-free treats along the way. Hiking through the forest is the best way to fully experience the mountain, rain or shine. I look forward to welcoming more adventurers who love nature, hiking, and unforgettable experiences!

Fabulous hike with wonderful tour guide!
Nuria, our guide was incredibly prompt and proactive with her communication and directions to the place. We did a beautiful hike through the sprawling national park in Barcelona (Baixador de Vallvidrera) amid breathtaking views and sparkling conversations with Nuria. It was approximately a hour 15 minutes of walking on both flat surfaces and gentle inclines until we eventually reached the beautiful church at Tibidabo. Nuria gave us a wonderful tour of the space and also accompanied us back on a quaint minibus to the Tibidabo Funicular and then to the train station where we were able to trace our way back home. This hike is an absolute gem and is perfect for those who want to experience Barcelona in a peaceful way, free from the noise, congestion and crowds. Would highly recommend for all travelers!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your beautiful words! 🌿 I’m really glad you enjoyed the peaceful side of Barcelona and the route up to Tibidabo. It was a pleasure to walk, talk and share the views with you. This experience is all about taking the city in slowly, with nature, space and calm — I’m happy it resonated with you 🤍 Hope to welcome you again one day!

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Hiking with the best views of Barcelona: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Hiking with the best views of Barcelona cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Hiking with the best views of Barcelona take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Hiking with the best views of Barcelona worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Hiking with the best views of Barcelona?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Hiking with the best views of Barcelona suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Hiking with the best views of Barcelona?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Hiking with the best views of Barcelona start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
