BESTEST HIKE WITH THE BEST HUMAN
Let me start by saying Thankyou to DAVID.From the start since we booked this hiking tour with him till the end, he was extremely helpful and amazing.lt was my best decision to book this tour with DAVID.My son forgot to wear his sports shoes and I can never forget that David drove all the way and took extra efforts to pick up a pair of shoes he had so that my son can comfortably hike.Really sweet of him.He really welcomed us warmly and was very happy having us as his first Indian group. He gave us lot of information about the plants along the way while walking through the natural park and other information about the local places and beaches. He got snacks and juices for us which we enjoyed having at the beautiful beach with turquoise water. He clicked the best pictures and took amazing videos which are our memories for life.I had the best time with my friends at this magnificent beach.Best part was the drive back with David. He gave us juices and made us laugh on our way back we listened to the best music & he also guided us to visit the best places at Nerja.I really wish I get the chance to visit malaga again and book my next adventure trip with David. I would definitely recommend my friends and family and all of you to please book through them I swear you will have the best lifetime experience.DAVID HAS EXCEEDED ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS !! I CAN GO ON AND ON BUT I AM ENDING HERE WITH A THANKFUL HEART.

Nerja coastal hike/swim
Great hike along the cliffs in the natural park of Maro and Nerja. Moderately strenuous hike with some steep areas and loose gravel. Thanks David for helping Monica on some of the downhills! Breathtaking views along the coast from the top. Our family of four from US with two young teens and family of 3 from South Africa. We made our way down to a small remote beach with a pebbly shore that was a little tough on the feet without water shoes. Water was chilly but refreshing after the hike. Visibility was limited near shore by surf break breaking and some floating algae but there were lots of fish to see. Snorkeling would be great on a calm day. Thank you David for a fun outdoor adventure!

Quality family activity.....Excellant guide 😁😁
David went above and beyond to make our kayaking experience a highlight of our holiday! We chose the kayaking and snorkelling along the coast tour, from Maro to Nerja for our family of 2 parents and 6 young adults and we had a great time. David's English was amazing and he made all of the participants feel at ease and included. We did not struggle physically with the tour but I would say that you have to have a good level of fitness to kayak in the sea for any length of time. David's knowledge of the local area was vast and he provided just the right amount of information during the tour. We all enjoyed seeing the natural caves from the sea, unfortunately due to the current climate, the waterfalls had all dried up but it didn't spoil our tour. There were refreshments to enjoy when we arrived back to Maro beach and David went above and beyond by transporting the 6 of us in his minivan from our accommodation to the beach and back. There was also safe storage for bags and phones at the beach. We would not hesitate to use this trip provider again!!

Definitely recommend
We were very impressed with the service and definitely recommend if you want to do something a bit different on holiday and more adventurous. At the last minute we asked whether we could change our original booked tour due to one of our sons having an injury, our tour guide Fernanda was so accommodating and happily changed our tour. We went On the river hike through Nerja. It was very beautiful. Fernanda was so lovely, friendly, positive, energetic and knowledgeable about the area and we loved the pictures that she sent us through after the hike! Lovely touch!
Response from the operator: Hola! Thank you for coming!! :) You are a beautiful family! A pleasure to guide you in the hiking Rio Chillar in Nerja! I wait for you and your family for the next adventure woow Best regards from Malaga ( Nerja and Frigiliana )

A great day with positive vibes and stunning scenery.
We had originally booked the kayak trip but unfortunately that wasn't available due to a license not being supplied by Maro council . Anyway we decided to go with the Hiking experience instead. I would have to say It was one of the highlights of our holiday . We were met by Fernanda and Maria and driven passed Maro to the nature park. There we were given some snorkel kit and water and apple juice and the hike began . During the hike Fernanda stopped to explain local history and wildlife as we dropped down the the first beach where we had a dip . After that we hiked back up and again were told about the watch towers over Andalucia then treked down to a beautiful secluded beach for a snorkel session and picnic made by Fernanda. After about 45minutes we hiked back up to the top of the hill and back to the car park where were driven back to Nerja to end the day. Nothing was too much bother for both fernanda and maria and the rest of the group were lovely too (some Americans , Venezualans . Uruguain and our selves from Scotland) When I return to Nerja I willdefinately book again with this company as their guides are so positive and helpful.
Response from the operator: Hola! What a beautiful review, thank you so much for trusting us! I loved meeting you and showing you some of the beauties of Nerja! Here we are in Malaga waiting for you for more adventures!

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Hiking Natural Beaches & Snorkeling: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does Hiking Natural Beaches & Snorkeling cost?
+
Prices start at $78 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Hiking Natural Beaches & Snorkeling take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is Hiking Natural Beaches & Snorkeling worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Hiking Natural Beaches & Snorkeling?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Hiking Natural Beaches & Snorkeling suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Hiking Natural Beaches & Snorkeling?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Hiking Natural Beaches & Snorkeling start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
