This tour offers you a unique day trip to experience the Berber culture, and discover the majestic high Atlas Mountains, and you will have the opportunity to learn about the Berber people and their way of living. You will drive through the village of Tahnaout, and to Asni to experience an old authentic market, to continue driving via the three valleys. In Ourika Valley you will take a hike, have lunch and enjoy the river, then drive back to Marrakech, with the opportunity of a short camel ride on the way.

What you'll see and do
Ourika
today you will have the opportunity to travel discovering and enjoying the breathtaking hidden culture, passing by some of the highest three valleys including Tahnaout Valley, the Mulay Brahim Gorge and the Berber village of Asni. During your journey you will experience the breathtaking scenery and the fascinating views of the High atlas Mountains as we may stop by some of the berber " Amazigh" families to experience their way of living, meeting by the local kids. While we get to Ourika Valley for lunch. This valley is Green lush and looks like a paradise just outside of Marrakech, full of trees and flowers, blooming bushes, and magnificent waterfalls. After lunch here, you have the option to take 2 hours hiking. You will walk through the Berber village of Setti Fatma, and within the fields where you may well see monkeys in the wild, and experience great views of the waterfall. Afterwards, you will head back to Marrakech, where the tour ends either at your accommodation or in the square jemaa el Fna.

I feel it’s necessary to have a tour company in Morocco and I cannot imagine a better one than this
My best friend recommended this tour company. She and her family use them. She is a world traveler, and I trusted her opinion. She was absolutely right! I normally travel with out a guide making all the arrangements myself but Morocco is not that kind of place. I told this company basically what I wanted to do in a very short amount of time and they custom made me a life changing experience. I had a local guide in Marrakech that they set me up with. They recommended the best hotels, a beautiful garden visit and wonderful restaurants. The next day they took me with another local guide into the Atlas Mountains after writing camels as per my request we went to see a lovely waterfall and had lunch with a local family in their home.. the tour company was told it was my birthday and arranged for a very special birthday celebration. We were always greeted with water, kindness, and were sent many pictures and videos that they took. They went above and beyond in every way, I can’t think of how another company could be better.

Great hiking in the High Atlas Mts around Imlil!
We are an Australian couple, age mid seventies but still active, and recently we had a wonderful experience in the High Atlas Mts, Morocco. Organised by Moroccan Imperial Tours, as part of a 15 day tour, we stayed two nights in Riad Jnane in Imlil, which is beautifully set under spectaculr snow capped mt peaks. On the middle free day, we were collected by Lahcen, (photographed in the green cap, presenting a mint tea making ceremony), for a wonderful day hiking in the mts around Imlil, through walnut forests, along old trails, passing villages pressed on mountain slopes. Lahcen tailored the hike to our ability, providing us with hiking sticks, and sharing wonderful insights into the way of life still enjoyed by local people. One of the many highlights was a visit to his family home for mint tea refreshments, to be warmly welcomed by his family. What a memorable experience. We highly recommend it. Thank you Lahcen!

Exceptional day in the High Atlas Mountains
This day trip was fantastic, drive to the mountains was beautiful. A hike with a wonderful guide, picking apples from trees , walnuts from the ground ,ended with a great home cooked meal. The whole day was excptional. Highly recommended

Such a beautiful experience!
We used Imperial Tours for our trip to Marrakech because one of my fellow travelers had used them 8 years prior when they were in town. I am so glad we used them, Youseff took care of absolutely everything for us during our 4 night/5 day trip. Between him and our driver Abduul, we felt safe, and well taken care of which is important in a foreign country! Each evening we both Youseff and Abduul checked in on us to make sure we had a good day and to see if there was anything at all we needed. It was wonderful! The hike was absolutely incredible and beautiful! It was a more intense hike than I anticipated but the journey was well worth it for the views at the top of the mountain! We ate fresh berries and walnuts along the way to keep us energized. We were excited to learn that our tour guide for the day was also part of the family that was hosting us for lunch. The experience was so beautiful to be immersed in a culture completely different than my own. I highly recommend this!

Trip of a lifetime
We had a wonderful time with our tour guide, Abdul. Abdul was available 24/7, always smiling and always had water for us. Abdul is very knowledgeable about his country, was accommodating to our needs and for making us feel safe and comfortable. We enjoyed the camel ride, the riads, especially Riad Ksar Anica in Marrakesh. Room for improvement would be the tenting accommodations. Thank you Youseff for helping us to plan a trip of a lifetime. Thank you to Abdul for making it memorable.
