Total blast!
Such a fun way to experience the city! The ghost tour mixed a great story with local history, and the walking format made it feel social and lively. We learned a lot, enjoyed plenty of laughs, and had an all-around great time. Perfect for a fun night out!
Response from the operator: So glad to hear you had a blast! I love that the mix of ghost stories and history made for such a fun, social night out. Hope you'll explore another city with us soon!

Fun experience, scenic walk
The clues take you to interesting spots within the Lincoln Park area. The little riddles were nicely put together and made you discover more about the areas you visit. There was a bit of backtracking between the zoo and the conservatory because the connecting gate has been closed. The area for the last chapter was blocked off, but we were able to get close enough to finish out the story. The conservatory requires a reservation ahead of time, but is free. So be wary when booking.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback! We're thrilled you enjoyed the clues and riddles around Lincoln Park. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the backtracking and the blocked-off area. We'll review these issues for a smoother experience. Your insights help us improve, and we're glad you could complete the story despite the minor hurdles.

Worth the money
This was worth the little money it cost. The download and getting ready was a bit of a hassle still worth it. We really enjoyed all of it up until the last clue that was not accessible anymore. However the help menu and chat from the app let us know what happened at the end. Would probably liked a big finish. Still lots of interesting facts and places we would have missed on our trip. I did report the issue so hopefully others won’t get to the last chapter and not be able to complete it as well.
Response from the operator: Thanks for sharing! We're glad you found value in the activity despite the initial hiccups. Your feedback helps us improve for the future. Let us know if you have any questions or further feedback, we're available 24/7 at care@questoapp.com or via chat.

This is a scam do not buy this. You download a free app and do the scavenger hunt yourself. The app is called Questo.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Haunted Chicago: Lincoln Park Ghost Escape Game: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chicago.
How much does Haunted Chicago: Lincoln Park Ghost Escape Game cost?
+
Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chicago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Haunted Chicago: Lincoln Park Ghost Escape Game take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chicago is not rushed.
Is Haunted Chicago: Lincoln Park Ghost Escape Game worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chicago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Haunted Chicago: Lincoln Park Ghost Escape Game?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Haunted Chicago: Lincoln Park Ghost Escape Game suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Haunted Chicago: Lincoln Park Ghost Escape Game?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chicago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chicago and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Haunted Chicago: Lincoln Park Ghost Escape Game start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chicago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chicago?
+
Chicago's signature experience is still the architecture boat cruise, and the difference between the docent-led originals and the party-boat imitators is the single biggest quality gap in the city. Beyond the river: gangster history walks, Art Institute access, deep-dish and hot-dog crawls, and skydeck timed entry. Outty Ranking leans on guide credentials and how consistently the promised route runs. On Outty we rank every Chicago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Original Chicago Architecture Interiors Tour: Dazzling Interiors, Chicago Murder Mystery Tour, Chicago Favorites Ultimate Food and Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chicago?
+
May to October. Winter cruises stop running when the river ices. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chicago?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
