Spooky tour Highly recommended
Tour Guide Jack Sim very knowledgeable. It was delivered in a very entertaining spooky way. I am Moving to South Brisbane in 2028. Good to learn about the history

A CBD walk like no other.
I LOVE all things spooky! We were on a holiday in Brisbane and this tour came up as a recommendation on "things to do when in Brissie" and I thought why not! We had a free evening so why not explore Brisbane CBD in a different way. Andy was our tour guide and straight up was welcoming and just like that, he took us on the tour and gave us a great ghost tour. Andy and his story telling was theatrical but also informative. Gave us a different perspective of buildings whilst they look amazing, have a dark history. I would recommend anyone looking at doing this tour should do it. The 2hr walk might feel like a long time wandering around the CBD but time does go quick. Andy also interacted with the group in between stops which was nice and comfortable. My favourite was the interactive ending where it ended with a few knocks - if you know, you know. Definitely will do the cemetery walk next time we are in Brisbane.
Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you so much for your feedback! We're so glad you enjoyed our HAUNTED BRISBANE CBD GHOST TOUR with guide Andrew. It's incredible seeing these historic building in a new light. Andrew also does our TOOWONG CEMETERY GHOST TOUR - PART ONE: THE ORIGINAL. Be sure to check it out! Very basic ghost tour
While our tour guide was very knowledgeable the tour itself seemed a little lacking. And maybe it was me just assuming there would be more indepth ghost stories than we were given.
Response from the operator: Hello Stephanie, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you thought this tour was lacking and had an unsatisfactory experience. We include several ghost stories and locations which are researched in depth by the creator Jack Sim on all of our tours, which continue to receive glowing reviews. Perhaps this specific tour wasn’t for you. Team at Ghost Tours Australia / Historic Australia

Haunted Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brisbane.
How much does Haunted Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brisbane usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Haunted Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brisbane is not rushed.
Is Haunted Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 77 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brisbane, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Haunted Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Haunted Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Haunted Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour?
+
Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brisbane can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brisbane and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Haunted Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brisbane within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Brisbane?
+
On Outty we rank every Brisbane experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include North Stradbroke Island WILDLIFE Adventure Tour from Brisbane, Australia Zoo Day Trip from Brisbane, Ultimate Brisbane Walking Tour (Small-Group, Drink Included). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Brisbane?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Brisbane?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
