The object of clay pigeon shooting is to hit a clay target that has been launched into the air with a shotgun. While it might sound complicated, our world-class shooting coaches will instruct and guide you to hit the target – guaranteed! Belmont go shooting experience
Such a fun day!!! Havnt done clay bird shooting in a while so was a bit nervous and the staff explained it so well which made me feel very comfortable and excited to do it. Could not fault either staff members as they were amazing. Def recommended this activity.

A great morning on the range. lack of experience wasn't an issue, both Debbie and Mike were patient, experienced tutors who quickly helped overcome any nerves from this newbie. There's something immensely satisfying about pulling the trigger and seeing the clay target absolutely vaporised on almost the first shot. The variety of targets (coming towards, going away, two at once for example) went a long way with helping to dial in your eye and the result was a fun time. Highly recommended.

Debbie & Mike - AMAZING!!
We had a company social event where some had never shot before. Easy to learn and guided through the whole process. Even though there was some wet weather that didn't stop us and they were already prepared with Gazebo's to accommodate. Debbie & Mike were wonderful teachers and absolute pleasure spending our afternoon with them. We all had an exceptional time and definitely will do it again. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing day !!! Well worth the money ,great fun ,great views ,great learning. Debbie and Mike was beyond amazing,very professional in helping people learn whilst being great fun ....loved every minute ! Definitely going to revisit !! Highly Recommend these guys x My only moan would be the time flew by .....could have done it all again !

A fantastic experience using shotguns for clay target shooting.
A highly recommended Saturday morning held at Belmont, Brisbane by first time users of a shotgun to hit moving clay targets. Clear and well managed safety procedures in place with each participant receiving personalised guidance, instruction, encouragement and oversight. This results in fun, success and personal satisfaction for everyone. Being a little apprehensive at the start, we developed a true respect for the sport and a desire to repeat the experience soon, perhaps booking for a Beginners Day at a Belmont Shooting Club. We were delighted with the experience. Following a Safety Briefing, the skills of shooting are practised leading to the shooting of clay targets. To round up the session a fun competition with targets being launched from different sides is held. A fantastic experience. Our only recommendation is that some padding (perhaps a small towel) be brought as shoulder padding as we both sustained a small bruise in this area due to the shotgun recoil. Both instructors were highly experienced.
