Great experience in Howth
It's a great team building event. The tour guides on land and on the boat are great. Lots of seals and local history facts.

Howth for the win
My friend Sophia booked this tour for us and by far the hike will be my favourite memory of Ireland. Conor (one N not two) was absolutely amazing, he took us to his favourite tree, we climbed the cliffs and we even got to have some blackberries along the way. Thank you Conor, I shall remember that hike forever.
Response from the operator: Hello Samhain, I love to hear it was your " favourite memory of Ireland " that is what we believe in here. Conor is a master, and loves to share his love and knowledge of Howth. is mise, le meas, Shane

An Absolute Delight
Our guide Conor was exceptional. He was warm, welcoming and made our day enjoyable. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a different pace from the city centre. We hiked up above Howth Castle where the views were absolutely breathtaking, we were blessed with clear weather to see for miles out. Our guide shared many interesting stories and history about the area and he lead us to the Lower Cliff Path for the walk along the cliffs. It was amazing, the views! We walked through the town and on the castle grounds and stopped in a few places along the hike to take pictures. The fairy trees and Conor showing us his favourite tree, along with some poetry as we stopped by where W.B. Yeats once lived was so sweet! He recommended a few places after our tour and we opted for Abbey Tavern for dinner. There was a warm fire inside and we had a great dinner. Our tour with Conor made our trip truly unforgettable and far exceeded our expectations. This was my first trip to Ireland and a birthday celebration with a friend so this tour made our visit to Howth very special and a permanent memory for us. We were sent a relive link to revisit where we walked and hiked along with pictures he took along the way. Conor you made our day perfect!
Response from the operator: Hi Sohope7 Great to hear we "far exceeded your expectations". That makes our passion come alive. Conor does a wonderful job , and its great to see the appreciation. is mise, le meas, Shane

Weather be D%#*ed!
When in Ireland... do as the Irish do! I was fortunate enough to get a tour of Historic Howth with Paula from Shane's Howth Adventures. It was a rainy day in Ireland (which can be a bit common)... but the rain wasn't going to stop us from completing the tour. Paula was super friendly from the minute we met until the very end of the tour (was supposed to be 2 hours but went a bit longer by mutual agreement). Paula took me to so many places in Howth and explained the history of each place in intimate detail. From panoramic views of Ireland's Eye (Ey) to old ruins... I saw more in a couple hours than some of the locals probably even know exists there. Haha! I booked this tour for my final day in Ireland and it was an absolute jewel in the crown of my visit. I will never forget my trip to Ireland... from the beautiful Island itself, to the true locals that have called it home for thousands of years... and Paula helped sear that impression upon my mind and soul for the rest of my life. Thanks Shane, Paula and the entire staff of Shane's Howth Adventures for making my final day in Ireland a day I will never forget.
Response from the operator: Hi Wyrd, That is a great review, thank you. I have already sent it on to Paula, just in case she hasn't seen it already. Great to get the feedback that confirms that you get what we are doing, and the sharing of our time together here is as precious as family. Come back ! is mise, le meas, Shane

Great tour and very friendly guide
Our guide was very kind and patient and modified the tour as we were the only attendees. She walked at a pace that worked for my mother and even suggested a tea break. Very informative and a lovely day!
Response from the operator: Hi Sarnia, Lovely review, thank you. It sounds like Paula. Lovely guide and does a lovely job every time. Thanks for coming out. is mise, le meas, Shane

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Harbour Walk & Coastal Boat Tour COMBO - PRIVATE GROUP: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.
How much does Harbour Walk & Coastal Boat Tour COMBO - PRIVATE GROUP cost?
+
Prices start at $591 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Harbour Walk & Coastal Boat Tour COMBO - PRIVATE GROUP take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.
Is Harbour Walk & Coastal Boat Tour COMBO - PRIVATE GROUP worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Harbour Walk & Coastal Boat Tour COMBO - PRIVATE GROUP?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Harbour Walk & Coastal Boat Tour COMBO - PRIVATE GROUP suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Harbour Walk & Coastal Boat Tour COMBO - PRIVATE GROUP?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Harbour Walk & Coastal Boat Tour COMBO - PRIVATE GROUP start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dublin?
+
On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dublin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dublin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
