1. Haedong Yonggungsa

   Tour a traditional Korean temple perched on a beautiful coastal cliff, find your zodiac animal, take a picture, and receive blessings. Write your wishes on a leaf wish card and pray. You can also experience a brief Buddhist service. It was founded in the second year of King U of Goryeo (1376) by Hyegeun, the teacher of King Gongmin. After that, all the buildings were destroyed during the Imjin War and were rebuilt in the 1960s. In 1974, Monk Jeongam ascended to the throne and prayed for the complete reconstruction of the temple. He changed the name of the temple to Haedong Yonggungsa after seeing a dream in which the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara in white robes ascended to heaven riding a dragon. You can experience Korean Buddhist culture along with beautiful scenery, write your wishes on a leaf, pray, and briefly offer a Buddhist service.

2. Songjeong Beach

3. Cheongsapo

   If you go along Haeundae Dalmaji-gil toward Songjeong, you will see Cheongsapo on the lower right. There are many filming locations for movies and dramas, such as 'Friend 2', 'The Mood of That Day', 'Blue Alert', and 'Reply 1997', so it is fun to visit the filming locations for movies and dramas. It is emerging as a 'life shot' spot thanks to the scenery similar to the background of the Japanese animation 'Slam Dunk'. Cheongsapo's original name was 'Cheongsa (靑蛇)', which means 'blue snake'. In the old days, a good couple lived in this village. When the husband died while fishing, the wife climbed up to the rock by the sea and waited for her husband every day. There is a legend that the Dragon King, feeling sorry for this, sent a blue snake to bring the wife to the East Sea Dragon Palace to meet her dead husband. Take a life shot while walking around the drama filming locations in Cheongsapo and recall the scenes from the drama.

4. Haeundae Blue Line Park

   Haeundae Blue Line Park is a park where you can enjoy the coastal scenery of Haeundae. It was created by redeveloping the old railway facilities of the Donghae Nambu Line connecting Busan and Haeundae in an eco-friendly way. You can use the 4-person Sky Capsule or the Coastal Tourist Train. It runs a 4.8km section from Haeundae Mipo to Songjeong via Cheongsapo. Take the capsule or the coastal tourist train and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery while having a happy time in Haeundae, Busan^^

5. Haeundae Beach

   This is the most famous beach in Korea and the most visited by Koreans. The beach is the most popular vacation spot for Koreans, with its wide white sandy beach, luxury hotels, and various festivals. There is a 100-story LCT complex on the coast, X-TheSky observatory, and the hotel buildings and natural scenery are in harmony. There are also many things to enjoy such as Dongbaekseom Island, Busan Aquarium, Yacht Marina, and Market Street. It is connected to Blue Line Park to the east and Dongbaek Island to the west. Dongbaek Island is especially famous for its coastal cliffs, suspension bridges, and lighthouse observatories, and on clear days, you can see Tsushima Island in Japan. Also, if you walk along the path lined with camellia and pine trees, you can see Nurimaru, where the 2005 APEC summit was held, and a mermaid statue containing the legend of Princess Hwangok from Mermaid Land.

6. The Bay 101 Yacht Club

   At The Bay 101, you can enjoy a 1-hour yacht tour (optional). Here, you can board a yacht and enjoy a 1-hour yacht tour to see the Busan coast, including Marine City, Gwangalli Beach, and Gwangan Bridge, and watch small fireworks from the yacht at night. The fireworks on board will be an unforgettable memory. It consists of the 10 million viewers movie zone, animation zone, Haeundae background movie zone, and Santorini Square. :)

8. Gwangalli Beach

   At Gwangalli Beach, a popular tourist destination for young people, you can enjoy live fish and octopus tasting (paid experience) while looking at Gwangan Bridge. Also, on Saturday nights, you can watch a drone show, making it a popular spot for young people. There are various unique cafes and bars, so there are plenty of things to eat and see, and the beautiful night view of Gwangan Bridge is especially spectacular at night. Around the beach, there is a romantic cafe street, about 300 raw fish restaurants, and an outdoor stage where various festivals, including the Busan Sea Festival, are held.

10. Gamcheon Culture Village began as a place where refugees lived in difficult circumstances in the 1950s, and to this day, it preserves the history of Busan, showing a cross-section of modern and contemporary Korean history. The terraced houses lined up along the mountainside and the labyrinthine alleys leading to all roads show the unique charm of Gamcheon Bay. The 『Village Art Project』, started by local artists and residents to preserve the characteristics and historical value of Gamcheon, became the stepping stone for the creation of Gamcheon Culture Village. Various competitions were held thereafter, and in 2015, approximately 1.4 million people participated, establishing it as a popular tourist destination. This village also has a sad story. After the Korean War, a religious leader and his followers created this village, and the cult leader exploited the residents' labor and money. 11. Busan Tower

    Busan Tower is a 120m high observatory located in Yongdusan Park, the old downtown area, and is a symbolic observatory of Busan. 12. Jagalchi Market

    The area where Jagalchi Market is now located was called Nambin (南芳), meaning the southern coast. The name Jagalchi Market comes from the fist-sized pebbles that spread across the beach. There were street vendors selling seafood caught by small fishing boats along the coast around the market, which later became Jagalchi Market. During the Korean War, many people flocked to Busan and formed street vendors around the market to make a living. The coast was lined with shacks and houses centered around the Busan seafood processing plant building, and the street vendors gathered to form a market. After the Korean War, Busan City reorganized the shack village and built a building in 1969, opening Jagalchi Market in 1970. Today, Jagalchi Market is a famous attraction in Busan that many citizens and tourists visit. You can buy live seafood on the first floor and cook it yourself at the restaurant on the second floor.
