Amazing experience!

From the very start this tripwas amazing and easy to do. I saw many solo travellers, groups of friends and families all doing this trip. Our tour guide Chun, was absolutely lovely. She stayed with us throughout the trip, made sure if we got too hot on treks that we would stop to cool down, made sure we had access to plenty of bottled water and taught us a lot about the local indigenous culture. When we arrived at the family home, we was instantly greeted by big smiles and loud hellos! Making us instantly feel welcome. They had tea ready for us and the accommodation was prepped which was also lovely. It can get very hot if you're not used to the heat so be prepared for that. The dinner was bountiful and I must say better than the food in the cities. The breakfast was also really nice, but I was pleasantly surprised when they set out pancakes with chocolate spread and sugar available with some fruit. I felt like I was on a 5 star stay. I could go on and on about how great it was, if you come to Vietnam, this is a MUST if you want to experience how the different indigenous tribes live! 10/10

Sa pa is like a dream

This was so fun! The trek on the first day was about 5 hours long, but it’s so worth it! The locals were very friendly and the homestay was so warm and welcoming. Wish we could stay a little longer but we had to go… definitely will visit again next time

Response from the operator: Hello Mruacm, Thank you very much for your great review on Sapa 2 days 1 night with homestay in Ta Van village. This is the best experience you should have in Sapa and I am happy that you enjoyed the trip. For you, to travel in Sapa now is wonderful if you have time to trek in Lao Chai - Ta Van and stay overnight in homestay, you will meet the host of local family and have dinner with them and sleep on the house of wood and watch the mountains and green fields. Thank you for joining the trip and wish you all the best, Best Regards, Nick Bui

A Meticulous Tour

The guide was kind. I'm not a vegetarian, but he asked if I was vegetarian or if there was anything religiously inedible.

Sapa tour

Many thanks for Maya, who have helped us any question we faced. The tour was great. We should not be in a hurry. The guide didn’t annoy with lots of information, but was excellently oriented in any question. Hotel was great with helpful stuff. Fansipan peak is great place to visit. You’ll remember it.

Response from the operator: Dear alv_dem, Many thanks for choosing Go Asia Travel for your trip to Sapa. It is our pleasure to welcome and serve you at our best. Your nice compliments on our staffs and services is exactly what we strive to receive from our guests after they finish their trip. Rest assured that on your next visit we will ensure that you will have the great experience again. We hope you keep nice memories of your trip and it would be our pleasure to welcome you again in our beautiful country. Sincerely, Anthony Tran (Mr.) - Manager

Hanoi: Sa Pa Rice Terrace Trail & Bac Ha Market| Homestay & Hotel: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.

How much does Hanoi: Sa Pa Rice Terrace Trail & Bac Ha Market| Homestay & Hotel cost?

+

Prices start at $54 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Hanoi: Sa Pa Rice Terrace Trail & Bac Ha Market| Homestay & Hotel take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.

Is Hanoi: Sa Pa Rice Terrace Trail & Bac Ha Market| Homestay & Hotel worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Hanoi: Sa Pa Rice Terrace Trail & Bac Ha Market| Homestay & Hotel?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Hanoi: Sa Pa Rice Terrace Trail & Bac Ha Market| Homestay & Hotel suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Hanoi: Sa Pa Rice Terrace Trail & Bac Ha Market| Homestay & Hotel?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Hanoi: Sa Pa Rice Terrace Trail & Bac Ha Market| Homestay & Hotel start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

+

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
