Hang Luon Cave
Luon Cave is one of Halong Bay’s most serene and unique natural attractions, offering a peaceful contrast to the grandeur of larger caves like Sung Sot. It’s especially known for its tranquil scenery and access by boat or kayak. Unlike other caves, Luon Cave has a low, arched limestone entrance that you can only pass through by small boat or kayak—larger vessels cannot enter. Hidden Lagoon: Passing through the short tunnel (about 60 meters), you enter a quiet, enclosed circular lagoon surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and lush vegetation. It feels like a secret world, completely cut off from the bay. No Walking Inside: This is not a walk-through cave like others. The beauty of Luon Cave lies in the experience of gliding through it, listening to birds chirping and seeing monkeys, orchids, and possibly wild goats on the cliffs above. Ideal for Kayaking: Luon Cave is one of the best spots in Halong Bay for kayaking, offering calm, clear water and stunning reflections of the cliffs.

Fun trip and nice boat
The boat itself was very nice. Our group was small, we had a lot of free space. The lunch consist of a good selection of seafood, meat and veg options. Drinks are not included but you can purchase them. Similar to hotel prices. The trip was fun and we got to see a lot in a short time. Kayaking was fun but be cautious on the boats as they don't pay attention to you and you can easily get hit. The trip to tip top moutain was quite narrow and steep with lots of ppl. The view was worth it though. The jacuzzi was a nice bonus after all the hiking. The staff and guide was very nice throughout the trip.

Ha long Bay cruise - drawbacks
Overall ok. Comfortable, clean boat. Nice food. Drawbacks - cruise is a bit too long. Timeschedule not respected. We arrived back in Hanoi after 10 PM. In some spots we stayed too long from my perspective. They are very crowded spots - on our return, in addition to being late driver stopped for 30 minutes on the highway at a kind of store to buy stuff and eat This we didn t like. Noone from the bus liked it. We were all anxios to get back to the city where there are plenty of better options for eating

Lovely 3D 2N Halong Bay Cruise
We booked 3D/2N Halong Bay cruise at the last minute. Boat: nice size - not very many passengers - maybe 40. Room: we had a junior suite - tighter than I expected but knowing we would be out most of the time it was perfect. It had a balcony which we loved and the bathroom was nice. Stairs: be aware there are a lot of stairs to go anywhere on the boat. Food: just ok. We never went hungry but it was not impressive food if you’re here for that! Excursions: well managed and enjoyable. We loved the day on the day boat - very relaxing.

Hanoi: 3D2N Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay with Arcady Boutique Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.
How much does Hanoi: 3D2N Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay with Arcady Boutique Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $220 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Hanoi: 3D2N Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay with Arcady Boutique Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.
Is Hanoi: 3D2N Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay with Arcady Boutique Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Hanoi: 3D2N Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay with Arcady Boutique Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Hanoi: 3D2N Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay with Arcady Boutique Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 24-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Hanoi: 3D2N Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay with Arcady Boutique Cruise?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Hanoi: 3D2N Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay with Arcady Boutique Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hanoi?
+
On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ha Giang Loop 3-Day Small Group - from Hanoi, (Group/Individual) HANOI STREET FOOD TOUR, Incense Village Quang Phu Cau, Hat Village and Hanoi City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hanoi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hanoi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
