Run away from this awful company
Horrible experience with this awful company! Use any other company! They did not provide the experience we paid for and then their nasty staff hangs up on you. Do not recommend!
Response from the operator: Good morning from Caf Tour & Travel, Dear Christopher, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. After reviewing the situation, we feel it is important to clarify the facts. Your personal voucher clearly stated: “Mandatory to arrive at least at 04:30 pm – It is mandatory to arrive at the meeting point at the mentioned check-in time. In case of delay it will not be possible to join the group, nor to have a refund or reschedule the course.” Unfortunately, you arrived at the meeting point after 4:48 pm. For logistical and operational reasons, we are unable to wait for late arrivals without impacting the experience of other participants. Furthermore, the cooking class cannot accept participants after the designated start time, as the chef’s schedule and the preparation of the class must proceed strictly as planned. We understand that delays can happen, but this situation arose due to arriving late, not due to any failure on our part. All arrangements were provided exactly as advertised, and the tour and cooking class continued smoothly for the rest of the group. While we regret that you were unable to join the experience, we hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future. We would be happy to welcome you on one of our activities and demonstrate the high quality of service and care that we provide to all of our guests. Best regards

Awful!!! Pick another tour! Nasty and unprofessional
Run away from this company!! I would give negative stars!! The worst experience of our trip. They do not tell you they are bussing you to another location for the class. We had a little trouble finding the meeting spot but were on the right street one minute away. We contacted the tour guide to say we were just steps away and running over and was told “no we are leaving without you.” We asked for the address so we could meet up with them at the cooking school, but they refused to provide it and would not let us take the class we paid for over! They are rude and unprofessional. I don’t know how anybody can treat their customers this way! We paid hundreds of dollars for our family to take the class and they couldn’t have been less helpful or understanding. I called the company headquarters and was hung up on. They are awful! Use another company!!

A greay pasta class
My daughter and I had a great time at this pasta making course. We made pasta dough then turned it into fettucine amd ravioli, plus we also made gnocchi. For dessert we made Panna Cotta. It was all delicious and the chefs leading the groups were great. A nice experience and something a bit different.
Response from the operator: Good morning from Caf Tour & Travel, Dear Tracy, Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you and your daughter enjoyed the pasta-making course and found it a memorable and unique activity. It sounds like you both embraced each part of the process, from preparing the pasta dough to making delicious fettuccine, ravioli, and gnocchi. And ending with a classic Italian dessert like Panna Cotta – what a perfect way to complete the experience! We’ll be sure to pass along your compliments to our chefs, who love sharing their passion for Italian cuisine with customers like you. We hope to welcome you both on another culinary adventure in Florence soon! Kind regards

We enjoyed the chef but wished that he had us do hands on as he was teaching almost to much to remember

We appreciate your suggestion about having more hands-on time during the class. We'll certainly keep that in mind to improve the experience for future customers. Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Hands-On 3 Pastas and Dessert Cooking Class in Florence: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Hands-On 3 Pastas and Dessert Cooking Class in Florence cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Hands-On 3 Pastas and Dessert Cooking Class in Florence take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Hands-On 3 Pastas and Dessert Cooking Class in Florence worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 276 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Hands-On 3 Pastas and Dessert Cooking Class in Florence?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Hands-On 3 Pastas and Dessert Cooking Class in Florence suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Hands-On 3 Pastas and Dessert Cooking Class in Florence?
+
Around 97 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Hands-On 3 Pastas and Dessert Cooking Class in Florence start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
