Fast speed boat!!

It says private and max 12 people , all true but the boat is exactly for 12 people so no much space left to move or seat wherever you want especially if you are a family. It says snorkeling equipment provided but they do not have snorkels due to Covid. At the blue lagoon there is only a beach club if you want to swim bring your own towels and water shoes , Trogir Amazing little town and the last stop another beach club. Trogir was the first stop

Family day trip off cruise ship

We did this trip for our family from a cruise ship that docked at Split. It was a great way to see the Trogir and the blue Lagoon. Our guide Luka was very entertaining, kept the music playing as he guided us to the 3 different destinations. Would do again as a family and well worth the money. We did the half day tour which allowed a drink back at Split before boarding the cruise.

Great day out on the water

A fun visit to some of the islands near Split. This turned out to be a nice afternoon to experience more of the area beyond just the city. It was great, thank you!

Could be better

This is the worst Viator tour we have booked. We booked in Viator so we could see reviews and ratings before booking. We did not understand what kind of boat we would be in. It was a high speed boat where the drivers goal was to get from one point to another as fast as possible. There were a few times I thought either myself or someone else might fly off the boat. We had to hold on the entire time especially when sitting at the front of the boat. When we arrived to the locations the drivers goal didn’t really give us instructions or tips other than the time we had to be back at the boat. When we arrived to the blue lagoon he didn’t offer any snorkel equipment. We had to go back to the boat and ask for the goggles. At the last stop he cut it short 15 minutes. We were only there for 45 minutes and we arrived back to the shore 15 minutes early at 6:45 instead of 7. Also the last stop has a boat and possibly other things underwater for you to see however the guide did not give any direction to help us with where to swim and there were boats coming in to the area we were swimming and many of us in the group did not feel confident this was a safe place to swim. The driver also did not tell us that there was a cooler onboard for us to put our drinks in. We asked the girls at the booth but she didn’t know and then after the first stop we saw the driver putting something in a cooler under a seat and asked if we could put our drinks in there which he did. It would just have been nice to know upfront. The driver did not give his name. Maybe that was intentional…. The Blue Lagoon was great, but the execution and communication was lacking and could have been done much better. I never leave bad reviews but in this situation I felt it necessary so people who are looking into the tours are aware of what this one is like. I’m sure there are others that are much better. The boat was so insecure that on the way back we couldn’t even take pictures as the sun was setting. The lady next to me actually offered to hold my phone for me because she was in a slightly more secure seat by her husband and I was on the edge at the front of the boat. I had to hold on with both hands almost of the ride and she was concerned I might drop my phone or lose it off the side of the boat.

With around 5,000 guests joining our tours every summer, you are the only guest who has described the experience in this way. We understand that the speedboat may not have been what you personally expected, but it is not accurate to describe it as an unsafe means of transportation. Our skipper’s goal is certainly not to get guests from one location to another as quickly as possible. The boat is operated within the prescribed speed limits and in accordance with safety regulations. Driving faster would not only be unsafe and against the regulations, but would also put unnecessary strain on the engine. Our skippers have no reason or incentive to rush guests from one stop to another. It is also worth mentioning that the speedboat is considered a safe means of transportation and is suitable for families, including children from 3 years old. If you were unsure what type of boat you would be traveling on, you were always welcome to contact us before booking and ask. The tour description clearly states that the half-day excursion is operated by speedboat, as is common with this type of excursion in Split. The larger boats that operate full-day excursions are slower, which is why they are used for longer tours. If you realized before or during the tour that the speedboat was not suitable for you, you could asked about cancelling it. We have had older guests who did not feel comfortable traveling by speedboat, and when they told us this, we immediately arranged a refund. For us, the most important thing is that our guests feel comfortable and satisfied. Regarding the skipper, his name is Zoran. He has a lot of good reviews and treats our guests equally and makes the same effort with every group. He explains the locations, provides information about the stops, and offers snorkeling masks to guests. We are sorry if you personally felt that more information was needed, but it is not correct to suggest that he simply leaves guests without any guidance. We also need to clarify the information about the cooler. We departed at approximately 2:25 PM, and came back at 19:00PM. I personally was at the Riva when you asked me about the cooler before start. I told you that there is a cooler on board where you could keep your drinks. Therefore, the statement that the girl at the booth did not know about it is not the full picture. Of course, I know what equipment and facilities we have on our boat. As for the underwater attractions you mention at the last stop, this is also something that is not included in the description of our excursion. You would not have known about them from our tour description, so it is not fair to present the lack of information about those specific underwater features as something that was promised as part of the tour. We also contacted you after the tour because we wanted to discuss your concerns and try to resolve the situation in a friendly manner. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response from you. We genuinely believe that communication is the best way to resolve misunderstandings, and we were willing to do that. We are always open to constructive criticism and there are certainly things we can improve, particularly when it comes to making sure every guest understands exactly what to expect before the tour. However, we also believe it is important that reviews accurately reflect the service provided. We are happy that you enjoyed the Blue Lagoon, and we are sorry that the overall experience was not what you personally expected. At the same time, we hope future guests reading this review will understand that our speedboat is a safe and appropriate vessel for this type of excursion, our skipper operates within the required regulations, and our priority has always been the safety and satisfaction of our guests.

Fun boat experience to explore islands near Split

What an amazing experience, just a perfect way to spend a day. Zorran was a great skipper! A gentleman, kind and conscientious. Made the experience fun and was super helpful. Would recommend this experience, and if you're lucky enough to get Zorran, enjoy!
