Mohammed / Simo was the best guide. He was FULL of information and taught us a lot about the region. He also made sure we took stops when we needed to and let us set the pace. The lunch at the end was one of the best meals we had in our 2.5 weeks in Morocco. 100% recommend!!

Fantastic Trek

A wonderful experience on my half-day trek with Chefchaouen Adventures. The guiding, the route, the commentary made for a memorable experience. I was met at my hotel and our adventure began on the edge of town. The day was tailored to my schedule and we certainly made the most of our 3+ hours up the valley. Part of the trail followed a single track path. The guide knew the history and geology of the valley, as well as identifying the many trees and plants along our route. I felt like I was in an outdoor nature class! Yes, it's uphill from town, but there is no rushing.. Water and fresh fruit snacks were provided and the guide constantly checked with me about the route. Highly recommend for stunning views, excellent commentary and a unique way to experience the beauty of the Rif Mountains above Chefchaouen.

Wonderful visit to the Chefchaouen region

I requested the services of Chefchaouen Adventures for my family's visit to the region of Chefchaouen because we'd be before and wanted do something beyond the visit to the old city and the hike up the Akchour falls. Mohammed Yassine (MY), after taking into account the physical shape of everyone in the group (5 adults of ages 28 to 70 and 2 dogs), suggested we hike in the national park of Talassemtane which I had never heard of. He was very good about explaining what the hike entailed and made all of the arrangements - 4*4 rental, lunch, water. MY is a great guide who is extremely knowledgeable about the region of Chefchaouen, medicinal plants, and many other things - He kept us entertained and interested during the trip, so much so that my aunt - who typically doesn't enjoy physical exercise - loved the outing and declared it an wonderful idea. MY provided excellent advice on restaurants in Chefchaouen and was very accomodating when we decided to change our next day agenda. It was a great trip and I'll definitely be using Chefchaouen adventures again and recommend MY to anyone wanting to visit Morocco!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much fpr your feedback. it was a pleasure to Chefchaouen Adventures to serve you and to show you some of our natural heritage. We try our best to offer the best experience adapted to all. hope to see you again in Chefchaouen. hugs for all your family

+

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
