The Very Best Tour of our Mediterranean Cruise

My wife and I booked a half day + extra hour private tour of Paleokastritsa for Aug 5 when we visited Corfu during our Sun Princess cruise. The price was 340 Euros total which was reasonable and certainly a good deal compared to our shore excursion options with Princess. The tour was terrific and it was the best run tour we did during the whole cruise! Maria, the owner-proprietor, is a one person show and runs her business very professionally. Her English was excellent and we found her to be very conversational and entertaining--she was a joy to be with and we learned a lot about the island from Maria and what life is like on Corfu. We were driven in a very large 9 person van. The vehicle was in excellent condition and was spotlessly clean. Most importantly, the ride was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great during the very hot day that we toured. My wife and I were pretty tired from our jet lag and we were not doing well in the heat, consequently we did not want to do some of the things that we originally planned. Maria did a nice job of improvising on the spot and making changes to the tour based on our wishes (and physical condition). If you are visiting Corfu, I highly recommend booking with Corfu Way TS--whether it is for couples or for a larger family. Thank you, Maria, for making our day in Corfu memorable!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! ❤️ It was a pleasure meeting you both, and I’m so happy you enjoyed your day in Corfu. Your kind words truly mean a lot to me! Hope to see you again someday! 🇬🇷💙 Maria Corfu Way TS

    Corfu tour was wonderful.

Wonderful tour of Corfu, tailored to what we wanted to see. Maria was on time, great at communicating with us ahead of time, drove us all around and shared information about her beautiful island. We loved our stops at the Monastery, olive oil museum, cliff side cafe and a quick souvenir stop we requested. Perfect day for our group of 5 but she has room for more.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful comments! 😃 We truly appreciate your kind words. 😀 We hope to see you again next year in Corfu! ✈️☀️

A Rare and Awesome Blend of Knowledge, Professionalism, and Care

My experience with Corfu Ways TS could not have been better thanks to Maria’s deep knowledge of Corfu’s roads and resources, incredible responsiveness, and genuine care and concern for her clients. My family was picked up from the airport and taken to Kassiopi on the north shore on July 23. By the evening, a fire spread through the mountains, lightning up the night sky. Maria texted me that night and over the next 48 hours, sending updates, and checking in to make sure my family was safe and informed. To minimize the stress of this uncertain and risky time, she helped craft a back-up plan for escaping the fires (what a relief!). Fortunately the fires subsided, so our group of eight went on a 6-hour tour of Paleokastritsa, Aggelokastro, and Lakones.on the north west coast of Corfu. This included tremendous vistas, a hike around the Monastery of Paleokastritsa, a visit to a specialty shop with an informative presentation of local foods, a delicious lunch at a restaurant with a jaw-dropping view of the Ionian Sea, and a dip at the Agios Spiridon beach before our return to Corfu City. Maria not only navigated the twisty roads and cramped parking lots with smooth expertise, she listened to our interests and attended to our needs seamlessly, shifting the itinerary to make the best use of our time. In particular, one unnamed party left their passport back at Kassiopi. Maria dealt with the family upset (quite the drama show) like a calm and trusted advisor by contacting the necessary parties and crafting a plan to return the passport to Corfu City. Maria’s considerable capabilities and interpersonal skills handled every situation with graceful professionalism. Maria is one of those people who excels at what they choose to do. She’s also one of the rarer types whose integrity and compassion leave an impression. Did I mention that Maria spent her evenings as part of an emergency fleet of volunteers who rescued stranded tourists and residents. Thanks for keeping our trip to Corfu pointed in the right direction despite its many twists and turns.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your comments !!😃 I appreciate it that !!!😀 I hope to see you next year in Corfu✈ Corfuwayts team!!! 💎💎

How much does Half-Day Private Tour in Paleokastritsa with Pick Up cost?

    +

Prices start at $278 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Corfu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half-Day Private Tour in Paleokastritsa with Pick Up take?

    +

Is Half-Day Private Tour in Paleokastritsa with Pick Up worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Corfu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Private Tour in Paleokastritsa with Pick Up?

Is Half-Day Private Tour in Paleokastritsa with Pick Up suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half-Day Private Tour in Paleokastritsa with Pick Up?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Corfu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Corfu and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half-Day Private Tour in Paleokastritsa with Pick Up start and how do I get there?

    +

What are the best things to do in Corfu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Corfu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Food and Cultural Tour in Corfu, The Governor's Olive Mill Tour with Olive Oil Tasting, Electric Fat Bike Self Guided Tour Discover North Corfu. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Corfu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Corfu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
