Excellent boat day
We had a wonderful boat day with Captain Eric. The weather forecast was a little unfavorable but he did a great job dodging the weather and finding us a great place to hang out for the morning. Second time we have booked with this company and have enjoyed both trips. Highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the great review, Trace! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your day on the water with Captain Eric and have trusted our services for a second adventure. Thanks for recommending A Boat Day, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Boating the Bay
Our group of 7 had an absolutely fantastic time with Captain Ed. From start to finish, he made the trip enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable. He took us to several beautiful spots throughout the bay including Honeymooner's island for seashells, Caladesi State Park for a beautiful beach experience and even managed to get dolphins playing in the wake behind the boat, which was pretty awesome to see up close! Captain Ed was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was having a great time. Great music selection too. He even recommended Bon Appétit in Dunedin for dinner, and it turned out to be an excellent choice with great food and a beautiful waterfront atmosphere. This was truly one of the highlights of our time in the Clearwater Beach area. We couldn't have asked for a better day on the water and would highly recommend Captain Ed to anyone looking for a fun, unique, and unforgettable boating experience. We'll definitely book with him again when we're back!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your incredible review! We're delighted to hear your group had such a fantastic day on the water with Captain Ed. It sounds like your trip was filled with unforgettable moments. We're also happy to hear Captain Ed's local recommendations helped make the rest of your day just as memorable! Thanks for choosing us and for your wonderful recommendation. We can't wait to welcome you back for another adventure the next time you're in town!

Perfect experience!
Captain Steve and Captain Michael were so awesome!!! We went for my bachelorette trip and they were so kind and accommodating to all of us. One of us lost our sunglasses going down the slide and Captain Michael even had googles on helping us look for them at the bottom of the ocean! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! :)
Response from the operator: Wow! Thank you for the fantastic review, Allison! We're so happy to hear Captain Steve and Captain Michael helped make your bachelorette trip such a memorable experience. We are honored that you chose to celebrate with us. Our crew always goes above and beyond for our guests, and it's those little moments that make a day on the water even more special. Thanks for recommending our services. We wish you all the best as you head into this exciting new chapter, and we hope to welcome you back aboard for another unforgettable day on the water!

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Half- Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Clearwater Beach: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Clearwater.
How much does Half- Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Clearwater Beach cost?
+
Prices start at $1050 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Clearwater usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half- Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Clearwater Beach take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Clearwater is not rushed.
Is Half- Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Clearwater Beach worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 357 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Clearwater, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half- Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Clearwater Beach?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half- Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Clearwater Beach suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half- Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Clearwater Beach?
+
Around 125 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Clearwater can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Clearwater and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half- Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Clearwater Beach start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Clearwater within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Clearwater?
+
Clearwater Beach fills its calendar with dolphin cruises, pirate-themed family sails, parasailing, jet ski tours around Caladesi Island and sunset trips off Pier 60. On Outty we rank every Clearwater experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Little Toot Dolphin Adventure at Clearwater Beach, Clearwater Encounters with Dolphins Tour, Clearwater Beach Parasailing Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Clearwater?
+
March to May and October to November for warm water without peak crowds. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Clearwater?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
