    What you'll see and do

    1. Your BOAT DAY starts with a safety briefing, then it's time to cast off! Your trip will typically take you north of Clearwater Beach to our beautiful barrier islands including Caladesi Island, Honeymoon Island and Three Rooker Sand Bar. Along the way it is very likely that we will see dolphins.    We may also see manatees, sea turtles, rays, Ospreys, native birds or other local wildlife.  As your BOAT DAY continues, it is common for guests to get off the boat and go swimming and snorkeling, or shelling and exploring on our beautiful islands.  Afternoon and evening tours can include watching the sun set from the boat, over the Gulf of Mexico. All guests will enjoy a cooler with complimentary bottled water, Big Joe water floats and mesh shell bags.

      10 minutes here

    2. Caladesi Island State Park

One of the few untouched islands along the Gulf Coast, Caladesi Island State Park is accessible only by boat, but is worth the extra effort.

30 minutes here · Admission included

    3. Honeymoon Island State Park

One of Florida’s best-loved state parks, Honeymoon Island has more than four miles of beach to explore along with a three-mile trail through one of the last remaining virgin slash pine forests.

      30 minutes here

    4. Three-Rooker Baris a small, semicircular island that has emerged within the last decade. The fact that sand has been accumulating at this location while erosion has occurred at other locations demonstrates the complexity of the coastal processes at work on the West-Central Florida coast. As the island emerged, it quickly became vegetated, increasing its stability.

      120 minutes here

    5. Clearwater Beach

Laid-back Clearwater Beach is known for its namesake stretch of soft, white sand, which draws visitors year-round for jet-skiing, parasailing, and stand-up paddle boarding in its calm waters.

    Fantastic day with Capitan Eric!

We had the most wonderful time with Capitan Eric! We were a group of 9 and went on a 4 hour ride as part of a Bachelorette trip. We saw dolphins, beautiful houses and stopped by a sandbar for a bit to go swimming. Capitan Eric had a larger cooler for us which was a great and we played music from our phone through the boat speaker. If you are a larger party we took turns being in the sun and undercover to even out the weight on the boat. Dress accordingly if it's a windy day :D Thank you Captain Eric!!

Response from the operator: Wow! Thank you so much for the fabulous review! It sounds like your large group had the perfect time celebrating an epic bachelorette party on the water. We are so glad Captain Eric was able to make it a memorable experience for everyone involved. We look forward to celebrating with you again in the near future.

Half-Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Indian Rocks Beach: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Clearwater.

How much does Half-Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Indian Rocks Beach cost?

    +

Prices start at $1050 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Clearwater usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Half-Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Indian Rocks Beach take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Clearwater is not rushed.

Is Half-Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Indian Rocks Beach worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Clearwater, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Indian Rocks Beach?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Half-Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Indian Rocks Beach suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Half-Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Indian Rocks Beach?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Clearwater can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Clearwater and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Half-Day Private Boating On Tahoe Funship - Indian Rocks Beach start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Clearwater within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Clearwater?

    +

Clearwater Beach fills its calendar with dolphin cruises, pirate-themed family sails, parasailing, jet ski tours around Caladesi Island and sunset trips off Pier 60. On Outty we rank every Clearwater experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Little Toot Dolphin Adventure at Clearwater Beach, Clearwater Encounters with Dolphins Tour, Clearwater Beach Parasailing Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Clearwater?

    +

March to May and October to November for warm water without peak crowds. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Clearwater?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
