A must when in Capri!
We had booked half a day private boat trip and we got to see all of Capri from the seaside - with several swim stops and beautiful caves and grottos. Our guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out all the interesting sights we were passing. We had a lovely time! The only thing we missed was more refreshments, so don’t go on this trip hungry, and bring other drinks if you want something else than water and Coca Cola.

Great Half day adventure touring Capri by boat!
The half day boat trip was a great way to spend a day touring Capri! My wife and I had a great time during our honeymoon. It was very organized by Alessandro who met us at the port and showed us to our boat. Raffaele was our boat captain who gave us some history as he took us to all the landmarks and grottos! He let us play our own music on board and was great!

Capri Precious Boat Tours with Alessandro and Francesco was the best experience we had while on Capri! Francesco was friendly, polite, knowledgeable and professional. The boat was clean and comfortable and both went out of their way to make the experience unforgettable! I would highly recommend Capri Precious Boat Tours to anyone looking to have an outstanding and memorable experience. Thank you so much! Patti and Chris

A Perfect Day!!
It was a perfect day! The Tour Operator corresponded well, and we met our tour guide at exactly the appointed time! We had a great afternoon seeing the sights, and enjoyed a refreshing swim in a cove with a cave & beach as beautiful as the Blue Grotto! The boat was lovely and so comfortable up front. 5 Stars for sure!! Thank you for being a terrific part of our Trip of a Lifetime! ❤️

The best experience of italy!!
They made this absolutely incredible. We didn’t swim as much as expected. But honestly we didn’t want to for our 4 hour tour. It was amazing to just sit back relax drink our wine we brought. We did the blue grotto. Stopped at two spots to swim. But Francesco was a great tour guide and showed us some great spots, took pics of us, it was our 1 year anniversary and they had a cancellation so Nico even upgraded our boat to a bigger one with a bathroom. My wife was absolutely thrilled with this experience. Left a good tip with the captain. Brought food but didn’t eat it because we were too busy enjoying the views. It was well with the money. Alessandro, Nico, Francesco made our 1 year anniversary so memorable!! Only thing that was weird was the blue grotto people asking for a tip after I’m back on my boat… put me on the spot and I had only 20’s in euros so I tried to give US cash and they were like no that’s okay. Like okay so then gtfoh if money isn’t money. I’m wasn’t going to tip 20 euros for that boat ride.

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Half Day Private Boat Tour of Capri: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Capri.
How much does Half Day Private Boat Tour of Capri cost?
+
Prices start at $541 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Capri usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half Day Private Boat Tour of Capri take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Capri is not rushed.
Is Half Day Private Boat Tour of Capri worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 129 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Capri, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half Day Private Boat Tour of Capri?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half Day Private Boat Tour of Capri suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half Day Private Boat Tour of Capri?
+
Around 45 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Capri can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Capri and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half Day Private Boat Tour of Capri start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Capri within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Capri?
+
On Outty we rank every Capri experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Capri Island Boat Ride with Swimming and Limoncello, Kayak tour in Capri between caves and beaches. Photos included., Private Capri Boat Tour Local Gems and Prosecco Best Seller. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Capri?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Capri?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
