Nice trip
Pleasant ride, nice crew, lot of pretty nature. Never stoppes by monkey beach though. Not really that much to do at Bamboo Island

Very sympathic crew! We took the half day and it was nice. Snorkeling around Bamboo island was just one of the best spot we have seen in Thailand!

Avoid at all costs!!
Avoid this trip!! The overall experience was never worth the money paid. An over packed boat, times at stops were way shorter than advertised (by at least an hour), food served on the boat rather than bamboo island as advertised, rude host, late to pick up and early to drop off, and missed a key destination in the package. Overall I would suggest avoiding this package and book with someone else.

Good snorkeling ; overall disappointment
Enjoyable crew and good ocean conditions. Not as advertised! Left late after long wait; only 70 mins at Bamboo Island- promised 3 hours leisurely trip. Lunch box on boat, not beach. No Monkey Island - told its only for full day but it’s in 1/2 day description we paid for. Trip assumes experience and comfort with ocean, boats & snorkeling. No instructions nor safety briefings; not good for seniors/ less abled. Good views snorkeling!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the crew and the views while snorkeling. However, we genuinely apologize for the aspects of the trip that did not meet your expectations. We take your concerns seriously and will be reviewing our tour descriptions and operations to ensure clarity and improved service. Thank you for choosing Oh-Hoo, and we hope to have another opportunity to serve you better. Warm regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Bad communication.
The Company is just awful. In the description is says that the tour will start at 9.30 but when you talk to the tour operater all tours will start at 10.30 (ours even at 10.45). If you are trying to call the company, no one is answering, they respond after several hours on WhatsApp. Just book the tours up front on the island. The tour itself, was acceptable, 2 stars for that.
Response from the operator: Dear 198mich_lek, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our "Half-Day Morning Bamboo Island Tour from Phi Phi by Longtail Boat". We genuinely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the communication and timing discrepancies you encountered. Our goal is to consistently offer top-quality services, and we are disheartened to hear we fell short this time. Your feedback is invaluable to us. We are taking immediate steps to address the issues you've highlighted, especially in enhancing our communication channels and ensuring punctuality. It is insights like yours that enable us to improve and better cater to our travelers. We appreciate the positive note about the tour itself, and we will work diligently to bring the rest of our services up to that standard. We hope to have another opportunity to serve you better in the future. Warm regards, The Oh-Hoo Team

Half-Day Morning Bamboo Island Tour from Phi Phi by Longtail Boat: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ko Phi Phi Don.
How much does Half-Day Morning Bamboo Island Tour from Phi Phi by Longtail Boat cost?
+
Prices start at $22 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ko Phi Phi Don usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half-Day Morning Bamboo Island Tour from Phi Phi by Longtail Boat take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ko Phi Phi Don is not rushed.
Is Half-Day Morning Bamboo Island Tour from Phi Phi by Longtail Boat worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ko Phi Phi Don, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Morning Bamboo Island Tour from Phi Phi by Longtail Boat?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half-Day Morning Bamboo Island Tour from Phi Phi by Longtail Boat suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half-Day Morning Bamboo Island Tour from Phi Phi by Longtail Boat?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ko Phi Phi Don can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ko Phi Phi Don and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half-Day Morning Bamboo Island Tour from Phi Phi by Longtail Boat start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ko Phi Phi Don within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ko Phi Phi Don?
+
On Outty we rank every Ko Phi Phi Don experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Day Trip to James Bond (Canoeing & Kayaking Islands & Lunch), From Phi Phi: Half Day Discover Scuba (2 Dives), From Phi Phi: Sunrise & Beat The Crowds to Maya Bay by Speedboat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ko Phi Phi Don?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ko Phi Phi Don?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
