Would do it again
Nice to take a fully air conditioned tour and be seated comfortably. Very knowledgeable. A bit disorganized, but picked us up in a different location than when we had planned.

Beautiful Savannah
We really enjoyed this tour. Along with film sites, Andy told us a lot of Savannah history. I feel like we got 2 tours. 🙂 Comfortable car. I highly recommend this tour. A highlight of Savannah.

This tour was a highlight of our trip!
I highly recommend the tour! Andy was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He kept us engaged by sharing information about each film along with bits of Savannah’s history as we drove through the streets. At each location, he showed visuals of the movie scenes and shared interesting anecdotes that brought everything to life. He answered all of our questions and was very open and approachable throughout the tour. This tour was a highlight of our trip, and I would absolutely take another tour with him.

Hollywood tour
We took a mother daughter trip to Savannah and decided to book the Hollywood Tour. Andy was our tour guide and took us to several Hollywood and tv film locations. He was very knowledgeable and showed us movie clips of the areas we visited. This was an enjoyable tour, really recommend it.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for booking with DTours!

So enthralled, time passed too fast! Would easily do it again! A fun take on Savannah history
We had a fabulous time with Andy. He kept us entertained even on the road to various destinations with unique stories that we hadn’t heard on any other tour. We are both from Los Angeles and are movie buffs; we really appreciated the details and the variety of the sets that we saw and his background information on filming in Savannah. He was very accommodating, letting us get out of the car frequently to take pictures, even finding a restroom for us, and picking us up right on time. Even recommended lunch places for us to choose from afterwards! What a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. Our best tour in Savannah to date. Highly recommend.
Response from the operator: We are so pleased you enjoyed your tour and your guide, Andy! Thank you for choosing DTours!

Why this scores 49
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Half-Day Hollywood In The South Film Locations in Savannah: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Savannah.
How much does Half-Day Hollywood In The South Film Locations in Savannah cost?
+
Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Savannah usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Half-Day Hollywood In The South Film Locations in Savannah take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Savannah is not rushed.
Is Half-Day Hollywood In The South Film Locations in Savannah worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Savannah, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Half-Day Hollywood In The South Film Locations in Savannah?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Half-Day Hollywood In The South Film Locations in Savannah suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Half-Day Hollywood In The South Film Locations in Savannah?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Savannah can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Savannah and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Half-Day Hollywood In The South Film Locations in Savannah start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Savannah within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Savannah?
+
Savannah is a walking city with a dense guide market, which means quality spread is wide. Historic district walks, Bonaventure Cemetery trips, trolley hop-on routes and ghost tours with tavern access make up most bookings. Outty Ranking leans on licensed-guide status and group size, since the squares get loud once a tour passes twenty people. On Outty we rank every Savannah experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Savannah Guided Walking Tour, Bonaventure Cemetery Walking Tour with Transportation, Haunted Savannah Booze and Boos Ghost Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Savannah?
+
March to May for azaleas, or October to November for cool evenings. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Savannah?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
